This book inspired me to visit Ladakh, Kashmir and Manali 3 years ago. Since then, I have visited Ladakh 4 times, Kashmir 4 times and Manali 2 times. Little has changed since this book was written. A very good book before starting your travel. This book gives a quick course on Tibetan Buddhism. The guidance on the trekking routes is also superb.

After having visited Ladakh, I came across this wonderful book. The amount of info available is staggering. Your trip will be much more enjoyable with this handy guide.It also has details on the Zanskar, Manali, Srinagar side in addition to Ladakh.

The book shows 2016 edition on site, but Which I received is 2014 edition without trekking booklet.Also the condition of the book was not good.
