If You Care 17504 Basket Coffee Filter, Fits 8-12 Cup Drip Coffee Makers, 100 Pieces

A few years back we were given a coffee machine that used basket-style filters (rather than the more-common cone-shaped filters) and grew to love it, as it made good coffee and more of it than the smaller cone machines we were used to. We struggled to find paper filters for it until we chanced upon these through Amazon, and have been using them ever since, ordering about four times a year. It's good they are unbleached & all that, as they go into the compost. The box they come in is thin, flimsy paper/cardboard and can easily tear or get bashed (not helped by Amazon delivering them in paper bags/envelopes!), but I haven't knocked a star off the rating because the product is so right-on and planet-friendly... so I just reinforce the corners of the packaging with paper tape and get on with it. This usually lasts for the 3 months or so before we need to re-order. As a follow-up, that coffee machine we were given broke down soon after we found the filters, and we struggled to find a replacement that wasn't rather expensive or designed for catering use. Fits my coffee machine perfectly. Compostible, makes cleaning the filter a breeze, coffee tastes amazing. Only downside is they're a bit expensive but then again a box lasts for a long time, so it's still worth it. Will definitely buy again!

I like the actual filters very much as they are good quality, eco friendly and fit my coffee machine perfectly. I cannot however understand why this product is packaged in a paper envelope as this is the second or third time I have had the product delivered with the box of filters badly damaged. It doesn’t look nice sitting beside my coffee machine. This is all the more annoying as it was one of three items I had delivered and one of the other items was in an overly big cardboard box with plenty of space!!!

Product is as advertised, works well

These are excellent! We have a coffee machine with a basket shaped filter. The usual filter papers did not fit and we had many occasions of weak coffee because the filter had folded over and did not work properly. These filters fit the basket well so the coffee comes out perfectly. I also like the fact that they compostable. The only small negative is that they are a little more expensive.

Great product works in my salter filter coffee machine. So easy to remove and pop into the compost.

These filters are good they do what they are designed to do

These are great because they stop coffee getting into the little basket in my filter coffee maker. I can just put the paper filter in the bin and it's 100% biodegradable. This is much better than washing the coffee grinds down the sink and then having to buy Mr Muscle Sink Unblocker because they've made a big clog and a sort of disgusting cold brew coffee in the pipes. Also, the coffee is nicer.

Let me start by saying, this is an outstanding product that delivers as advertised. Normally I wouldn't pay quite this much for disposable coffee filters, but these are exceptional. After trying many less expensive as well as very expensive top name brands, these work the best of any I have found. With my cheaper drip coffee maker, I can't quite use the espresso super fine grind, but I am able to go much more fine than with any other paper filters that I've tried in my appliance. This means I use less coffee and still achieve the same robust pot of flavor that I've grown accustomed to. So I did the math and figured out that I'm saving enough on coffee to offset the slightly higher price so these actually cost less than the cheapest I could find anywhere. Couple that with the ever increasing price of coffee and I feel certain the value of this product will continue to get better and better. I just hope these continue to be such a great product for a very reasonable price. In the past when I have found something that works this well it usually wasn't available the next time I needed it. For that reason alone I have already purchased enough of these gems to get me through the rest of this year.

Excellent quality unbleached coffee filters. I always have these on hand in my pantry as they filter more than just coffee through the coffee maker! Also great for filtering hand-squeezed lemons of pulp and seeds, taking out fats from homemade broth or straining applesauce.b

VERY. VERY overpriced! I paid 26€for something that I can get back in Canada for $3. Other than that, the product itself is excellent
