Great price and value
No need to spend a fortune on a bag liner. Got the rectangular bag to use in a mummy bag because there is more room to move around in it. Also a great bag for use alone in mild temps. Like the fact that it unzips completely so I can use it as a blanket as well. Material is comfortable. Not quite the feel of cotton but close. Easy to get in and out. Especially nice when I choose to hammock camp. Will add a small degree of warmth in a bag but not the reason I got it. Other ways to stay warm if needed. Can't beat this bag for the price and value. Why spend $65 or more for a bag liner? Happy I purchased and I'll buy as gifts for other family members that like to camp.

Inexpensive Sleep Sheet w/Nice Features
I generally run warm, but prefer some sort of covering while I sleep. That being the case, I decided to try this for a late summer camping trip in Acadia. It ended up being a lot warmer than it was supposed to be for that time of year (about 65F at night), so this bag ended up working really well for me. I had an actual sleeping bag (40 degree rated), but ended up just sleeping on top of it using only this ALPS liner instead. I was pretty comfortable throughout, and felt there was plenty of room inside the liner (though I'm only about 5'4", 125 lbs). The full length double-tab zipper is kind of cool, as it not only enables easier entry/egress, but also gives you the option to either vent the liner a bit, or fully unzip it and turn it into a simple, light blanket/sheet. I thought the zipper might get in the way when putting the liner in its stuff sack, but it wasn't an issue when it came time to roll it up. I found it's easier to get the thing back in its sack if you just fold it a few times along the longer edge and then tightly roll one of the short edges up towards the other. If done efficiently, it should go into the stuff sack with a little room to spare, the whole package being about the size of a cap-less Nalgene bottle.Based on the features given for this price point, I would have rated this liner 5 stars, but I had to knock it down a star due to some poor stitching quality. You can see in the product photo (bottom corner) a cloth tab embroidered with the ALPS logo. This tab closes via hook/loop patches and is there seemingly to prevent the liner from coming unzipped after closing it up. I don't think this is a vital feature, but I did use it - once. Upon opening the tab in the morning, the loop patch sewn into the bag ripped out completely, still attached to the tab. I was pretty disappointed that this happened after one use, but it's really not that big of a deal and can be fixed easily. I still felt obligated to check the stitching throughout and found it to be pretty sloppy, but had to remember that this was not an expensive bag.

Great liner!
We used this as a liner and also as a sheet when camping. We stayed in a cabin that required us to bring bedding. This worked awesome and is small to pack. I used it camping inside my bag and it kept me nice and toasty inside my Mummy bag. I prefer this to the Mummy style as you can use it as sheet and it also fits fine inside a Mummy bag. I like the zipper as it can be used as a light sleeping bag too on top of a bag when hot out.I tried to have my son take it in the beginning of August on the Boundary Waters in addition to his backpacking sleeping bag (he didn't). He came back and said he was taking it with next year!Theiner washed up easily and dried fast.

good bag liner, some annoying flaws
The liner is made from a good, sturdy material which is thicker than a usual bed sheet. The zipper is sturdy and overall design is good. For my skin, it feels good. The only problem is that because of its width the liner is sewn from 2 pieces of fabric and the seam is not done very well: the main seam is fine (lockstitch), but the finish of the fabric's ends with an overlock machine (serger) is sloppy - stitches are missing at several places. It is not a huge problem, but a quality product should pass through a more rigorous quality control...UPD. The problem is actually worse than it appeared on the first sight - I downgraded the ratingSee attached photo, such missing stitches are at several places along the seam. One other thought - is it a real limitation on the width of the available fabric that forces them to make the liner from two pieces - one wide and one narrow - or ALPS Mountaineering is just penny pinching saving every scrap of the material?

Perfect!
So, I purchased a pair of these for my son and I to camp in Colorado. We camp a good bit in warmer climates, and therefore only have 40 deg rated sleeping bags. We needed to be prepared for 30 degs, but I didn't want to purchase another pair of sleeping bags. These were less cost and very small, so they did not add significant weight or volume to our gear.We used these inside our bags as liners for additional warmth on the coldest nights and they were perfect. When it was a bit warmer, I used mine as a blanket over my sleeping bag. Since that trip, I have used it as a light cover in warm weather camping (high 90s day, low 80s at night). If you tend to move a good bit while sleeping, these can be an adjustment when using as a true liner. I kept getting tangled up in mine for the first few nights until I adjusted. Otherwise, they were great.

Quality, Versatility, Comfortable, EZ in/out, and Daughter approved!
This is a great quality product. It's mid-Dec as I write this -- spent time in Myrtle Beach this week. I used this rather than climbing under the sheets while visiting. Unlike a Coleman, this product does not unravel. The construction is high quality and the zipper is EZ. My first ALPS was 'borrowed' by my daughter and was so good it stayed 'borrowed,' along with my Jeep. I don't 'spect she'll return either the ALPS or the Jeep -- she has good taste! This is my 2nd ALPS and am very pleased --- so I'm hiding it from daughter! It is soft, comfortable, easy to get in/out and takes up VERY LITTLE packing/storage space. I use this when traveling for my job too as I don't trust any hotel's cleanliness. This is a versatile, quality product that is value priced.

Great Travel 'Sheets'
Love the zippers from both ends so that I can open it a bit at the bottom if I want to stick my feet out, easily rolls up and fits back into the pack! I have sensitive skin so I bring this with me to hotels etc to ensure I don't react to the sheets.

which is good for backpacking
This isn't quite what l expected. It's folds up small, which is good for backpacking. It does a good job of keeping a layer between you and the sleeping bag. My mummy bag has the same material inside as it does outside. This works. Nice and long too!
