Metaltex "Imperial Spatula, Silver

Bought this for my flatmate XXx, lives downstairs. I basically accidentally locked my other flatmate of his room, and the lad upstairs said we could get the door open by wedging in thin metal past the lock. So we tried this with loads of different types of metals and in the process the spatula got ruined, and I felt so bad because it was not my spatula. So I ordered this on prime, and he seems to love it, good weight and good colour. He is worries that the metal handle will hurt his hand but we are yet to cook with it!

Apologies for the heading reader, I couldn’t resist! I have just recently received the spatula. So, while it is early days, I will say that - purchased for less than £5, it appears to be great value for money. Used primarily for turning eggs, this Spatula is perfect. It feels solidly built and, made of Stainless Steel, it should last a very long time. If it does not, of course, in true Schwarzenegger fashion… I’ll be back!

Just wanted something cheap and useable after I melted my silicone one. Wish I had brought one earlier because its great, perfect size for genereal frying, nice and sturdy, easy to clean. What more could you want.

Pretty good for what it is. Replaces a 35 year old flexible Prestige wooden handle slice which cannot be beaten for the thinness of metal not its sheer flexibility. This is ok for what it does but sadly cannot really hold a light to the old style slices. I can see why the old Prestige slices command a huge price if you can find one that is.

I bought this spatula for my mate because I broke his one at a BBQ about 6 years ago. I was using it as a slingshot to spank people and it snapped because it wasn't flexible enough (he still hasn't forgotten).This spatula however is very strong and does not bend much. So it prevents people like me from trying to misuse it.If you do decide to use it for BBQ's and cooking etc, it is actually quite good value for money and get's the job done.
