Nice book and good topics
When I thinking of buying this I was going in with not very much knowledge of any advanced maths since then. Now I want to re-do my A-level just as an intellectual exercise and to keep an old man's brain working. So it's all revision for me. The explanations given are the very minimum needed to get a grasp of the topics. The example questions are very well-explained. There are plenty of "concept-check" questions and exam questions dotted around. The book is colourful and well presented. One thing I really like is that it's printed on matt paper, so I can make pencil notes and rub them out if I want to. (You can't do that on glossy paper!) If you've got a decent teacher at school/college and just need some consolidation, this book is fine. If you're working independently, you might want a proper textbook. A nice book to refresh and learn new information, would recommend.
