Is this good for welding?

IMHO this clamp should not be used as a welding clamp. It's just isn't heavy enough. It's made of some sort of pot metal, I don't think it would stand up to the heat and rough handling welding would demand. That said, I've used them making wooden photo frames for a couple of years with very good results. Hope this helps.

It is a single clamp. So if you need two you will need to order two.

I don’t know, there are no marking on clamp, and I tossed the boxes when they arrived. They do work well, but I use only occasionally.

if I assemble a picture frame how do I put all of the corners together handle gets in the way?

You’re probably talking about smaller frames so in this case I would assemble 2 pieces at a time then assemble the 2 corners freehand on a flat surface with the help of a carpenter angle square. I hope this helps.
