Impressive, easy out indeed!
I can only think the mixed reviews for these are due to misuse.....worked perfectly for me and I was astounded by how well! I used it on a door lock cylinder screw (seems common these get shredded). I used the smallest bit, drill end 1st in reverse on high speed with light pressure being careful not to go on an angle and snap the end of the bit off (I think that could happen without care). You have to sink the whole end into the screw head like in my photo, then flip it to the extractor cone shape end, keep the drill in reverse but change to low speed high torque and gently squeeze the trigger so the drill moves extra slow, applying decent pressure, and hey presto, it grabs and the screw begins to turn! The screw was removed with ease using these and took about 5 minutes, I was buzzing! Lol! Very happy I decided to get them, great set with a good range of sized bits too.

Works ultimately, but with care
It works and helped me to get out some rusted gate screws - as mentioned in other reviews, use a smaller size first with a drill (I did in both forward and reverse). Then use the extractor side of the bit one size up. I didnt have any luck using it in a drill as its just too powerful and will spin out rahter than 'catch'. A cordless screwdriver can work - however the bits dont work very well in them as they're dual sided. Ended up using the cordless screwdriver to help it catch, and then used a wrench to slowly turn it and prise it loose. Knocking a star off for the dual sided aspect of it - it would be more useful if they had flat ends so you could use in a socket wrench or cordless screwdriver.

Does the job - but read instructions!
Brilliant! Took my hex bolt out in seconds. Make sure you understand how to use the tool (plenty of videos online). run the drill in reverse and be slow. I drop of wd40 might help.

Didn't grip, slipped and destroyed the screw head more.
So you are told to start with the drill side, drill out the head then use the reverse thread cone with the drill on reverse. Its supposed to bite into the screw but it just drilled it out more. It might work better on a looser screw with a stripped head but my whole problem was a screw so stuck i couldn't get any torque on it without the driver skipping. This tool promised to bite into the head to let me get the grip i needed. It very much didn't do that. I dremmeled a slit into the now ruined head which just fell to pieces when I tried to turn it... leave me to drill it out and cut it flush once I'd parted the pieces.

Fine for small home stuck screw jobs; definitely not for heavy duty tasks.
Cheap and cheerful, but did the job I wanted it to do. Needed to swap out 2 handles on wooden doors, the screws were unfortunately stuck and blunted. This wee set did the job with no time or effort wasted; however, they are just for simple DIY, not heavy duty or industrial tasks. The heads seem to be filing off them already after that small job. Overall, I'm still happy to have them, and have put them away for the next stuck screw issue, but my advice to myself is perhaps use a lubricant spray when starting the task, and definitely to use a better quality screw that what is usually provided in a kit, and not run into the problem in the first place.

Definitely worth the price.
Brilliant but not exactly for it's intended use, it worked perfectly for some, but for a few it just drilled them entirely out so it worked either way. Very simple to use, but some old screws can be too soft it seems.

Time, effort and money saved… just buy it…
Bloody brilliant, works better with a drill than impact driver though!
