I have been using TIGI Curlesque Leave in Conditioner for years but it was discontinued almost two years ago and whilst I was able to find stockists at a reasonable price for another year, there is no more to be found. I have been looking for a product to replace it, without success. I have tight corkscrew curls underneath and looser curls on top which are all prone to frizz. I used this for the first time this morning and it is just perfect. I applied a touch too much as I do need a lot of product but it has defined my curls without making them sticky and there is movement in my hair which I like.I am so relieved to have finally found a product that works at a reasonable price. I also like that I can see how much is in the bottle and it doesn't have a pump - no leaving the bottle upside down to get the last few ml! I will definitely be buying again and trying out other products in the range.

I have mixed-race hair - a big, natural afro! My hair is actually very fine in texture and I need a light product or it weighs the hair down too much. I've been using various leave-in spray conditioners but thought I'd try this based solely on the appropriate brand name!It's similar to a lotion in consistency and is easy to work through wet hair. I found I only need a small amount for full coverage. The product isn't sticky and has a fairly neutral smell - nothing wonderful but not at all unpleasant. I haven't noticed any dry residue once styled and it doesn't leave my hair greasy. (The conditioner is the 'banana yellow' in the product images - I wasn't sure if this was packaging or product colour. Of course, this hue disperses on use - just an observation).I use the LOC method (Leave-in conditioner, Oil, styling Cream) and this product works well with the others. I use a commonly sold brand of argan oil and a shea moisture curl cream.I would definitely recommend this product. Try out different sized amounts with the first few uses to find the right balance for your hair and correct compatibility with additional products you use.I've dropped a star because I think it's slightly pricey. That said - finding a product that works means it's easy to succumb to paying any asking price!

Love this leave in conditioner!!! I wash my hair once a week and use this religiously. Its rich, feels greasy when you put it in but doesn't leave the hair oily, just moisturised and healthy shiny.I apply to dripping wet hair and squish to condiah until my hair has drunk the product. After I apply cantu curl activator and style with my denman brush. Fantasticly defined curls that last all week!It's hard to squeeze the product out so I leave the bottle upside down for ease.Not the cheapest but although I use a lot, it seems to take a lo g time to go through the 300ml bottle. Smells really subtle of baby powder, nothing offensive. I highly recommend.

I bought this for my daughter after recommendation from her hairdresser.My daughter has mixed European and African hair, with dry scalp and I always struggle to find the the thing that works best for her hair. I thought that she is losing her curl with growing up, but I was so wrong. With this product all the curls are back, I can't recommend this product enough. After the first application my daughter spent hours admiring her hair in the mirror and we will not look back. Now we are using the shampoo and the conditioner too. I do suggest that you find look up for the mixed chicks tutorial clips on YouTube for application and required. We found them very useful.I know that the price and is a bit high, but trust me is so worth it.

From the front it looks solid but it can ruin ur hair as it doesn't really smell that good but if ur on a budget l guess this is good.. but id DEFINTILY recommend buying this conditioner from a real store in real life.

I have typical thick, mixed raced curly hair, it is quite long and soft but also has ALOT of frizz.I have recently had blonde highlights put in my hair and found that this made my hair even more frizzy and left my curls being limp and basically dead! I have heard a lot about this product from friends and looked at the online reviews and it sounded amazing so despite the price I thought I would take the risk. (It's a lot of money to spend on a product you don't know is going to suit your needs) so you can imagine how happy I am to find that my hair has immediately gotten curlier, less frizz but a lot of volume curls are more defined and I didn't even use a lot of it! Definitely recommending to friends, I don't usually write reviews but honestly this product is 10/10.Hope this helps

I love this product, was a bit worried about spending so much money on a product that I wasn't sure off, but decided to take the plunge and it was the best thing i ever did. Over the years i have spent so much money on different hair products and have never in my life been able to leave the house without half a tub of gel or mouse in my hair but the leave in conditioner was all i needed and further more i didn't even need that but so the bottle i ordered should last me quite a while. I washed my hair with the shampoo, then left the deep conditioner in my hair for an hour under a plastic cap, once i rinsed out the conditioner i gave my hair a quick towel dry and applied the leave in conditioner and left it to finish drying naturally, my curls feel so soft and bouncy and healthy looking. Thank you Mixed Chicks will never use anything else again

My wife has combo of 2b/3c curly hair that is prone to breakage and frizz, and under recommendation from her stylist we picked up this product. According to her, its been real a game changer. Her hair seems to be much more resistant to breakage and looks very healthy and shiny after using it for a few months.She has a whole routine for the hair care but this is the leave in she says gives the best results and keeps her hair moisturized, This product in tandem with a curl cream, keeps her hair nice and defined.She just added this to her routine a few months ago and the changes has been noticeable, she loves the results and feels better about her (beautiful) curls, so I would give this product 5 stars. Wife tested, Husband approved.

I am in the Army and keep my hair pulled up tight in a bun for at least 10 hours on a work day. I am Irish and my hair is super thick and tends to dry out easily. This product is perfect for my hair needs. I massage it into my wet hair before I pull it up. It’s help keep my hair healthy and soft and also helps it grow. Local stores I visit only keep the smaller bottles on the shelves so this size bottle is a life saver and goes a long way.

I took my time to evaluate the product, and now, after my 4th purchase, I feel confident to write a review, considering the long/term results of the leave-in!I do have a 3b/3c hair, and I am a total mixed chick, with blended Jewish/African/Portuguese origins. My hair is extremely dry, and I do live close to the polar circle (so, the weather conditions do not help). Since I moved here (ca. 5 years), I've struggled to find a product suitable for my hair, and I finally found it! Before mixed chicks, I've tried all possible famous brands (Sebastian, Paul Mitchel, Deva Curl, etc), and the results were never what I was used to have in my home country.Now, I finally feel that I am investing my money in a good hair product!Mixed chicks managed to give me all the results I would like to have: well-defined curls, no frizz, controlled volume, hydrated curls and, finally, the overall look where I can recognize myself again!If your curl are above 3b, I totally recommend!As a final note, I do not recommend mixing it with Sebastian or Paul Mitchel products because I've tried and I got dandruff while combining products. However, this side-effect disappeared after I stopped mixing, and I am very happy with the product!
