200m Clear Nylon Invisible Thread

Good thread. Ideal for repairs when, you are unable to match the colour of the item to a cotton/thread.

Strong thread and so useful as you can’t see the stitches. Though can take me a while to thread as hard to see, so worth it.

Recently purchased some curtains for the house. Due to the size of the window off the shelf curtains were either to short or to long.The exact same problem was had with the curtains already at the window. The long curtains were fine as they were a thin material which when closed could be tucked behind the radiator, although it did look a bit untidy.The new curtains being blackout curtains were thicker and just looked a mess scrunched behind the radiator.I tried finding a thread to match the colour of the curtains but they all seemed to light and just didn't look right so when I saw this clear thread I decided I had nothing to lose. The thread is almost like fishing line and loaded into the sewing machine fine. I was able to quickly cut a couple of foot off the bottom of the curtains and then hem the curtains with great results. You can't see the thread without looking carefully. The thread didn't break or jam up in the machine and 6months later it's still holding the curtains together. A great product and worth the price.

Faced with sewing on badges for Brownies, I didn't have a clue which shade of brown I needed and no time to visit a haberdashery shop, with a badge and the ridiculous-looking sash effort (yes Brownies, I said it), to find a match. I'm busy, my time is worth more than haberdashery faff. And so, I suspect, is yours.This item solves EVERYTHING. If you sew neatly, the thread isn't noticeable at all. I haven't attempted to use it for repairs or buttons yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't work well.Useful bit of kit if you have children in the house.I say this quite often, maybe there should be a series. :)

Great in theory but almost impossible to thread the needle especially when using sewing machine.

I was quite surprised at how easy this is to sew with. I assumed that it might be scratchy or hard, but having used it to make some quilting squares, it is virtually the same as using polyester or cotton thread. Definitely recommend trying it if you have multicoloured fabric to sew and you want to avoid needing to switch colours. It is pretty strong and did not snap when I used it, which was nice as I am quite heavy handed.
