I bought this on the advice of my favourite online, independent review site. Their review was almost breathless in praising the tremendous quality of the player. Really, it ticks every box if you just need a straightforward device to play cd, dvd and blu-ray discs. Sounds silly, but the price made me hesitate a bit.. surely it can't be all that good at such a low price point? Rest assured, it really is that good and better! Picture and sound are of tremendous quality on my HD set and I can only wonder how much better they'd be on UHD. Five easy stars. The bargain of the year? Probably.

This DVD is great, switch on and it changes automaticlly plus a lot of good points, I havn't tried 3D yet but I have plenty of them. BRILLIANT

Brilliant price, not tried other regions yet, nice size, the TV on/off doesn't work with other brand tvs, have to select dvd to play (doesn't auto start) and quality is high

Really enjoying using this DVD player, it is very fast and responsive to use with little delay between menu operations. It also connected to my home network (DLNA) via an ethernet cable (via Devolo) and I can view eg MP4s or play audio tracks over my network without a problem. The remote is on the small side but the buttons are clearly legible and the DVD player is very sensitive to the remote commands, so it hasn't bothered me. I haven't really tried the few included apps or trying to access the web though. More than anything I like the speed, responsiveness, menus, network connectivity and the picture quality is fine.

I purchased this BluRay player so that we can watch more recent Region 2 Region B BluRay discs which our old Sony BluRay player did not recognise - which was becoming an annoying habit. This is a brilliant piece of Kit and very well priced. Gives a superb picture and the graphics look amazing too. Well worth considering if you need an extra player or just need to get started. Recommeded.

Really good blue Ray /dvd player, functions pair with my smart tv and quality is excellent along with 4K what else can you get that’s better for the price. Easy set up, and connects straight away just follow on screen instructions and away you go. I’m not tops with electronics but this made it so easy. Great product and small as I don’t want a full size for where I need it to go it actually is perfect on my beside cabinet.

No frills Blu-ray disc player. Nice and compact which was the main reason I bought it. Works fine, easy setup, good picture. Good player for the price.

I bought this as an adjunct to my older LG DVD player, in case I ever needed to play Blu-Ray discs (which looks increasingly unlikely). But in fact it's not quite as good. Minor irritations: the remote is small so it's easy to hit the wrong buttons, and some key functions are placed in unlikely positions on the remote. And you have to go through 3 separate stages, and 3 button presses, just to 're-start' after you've stopped the player to go make a cup of tea or whatever. Why so complex? More seriously, it has problems getting lip synchronisation right (on home-made discs ie programmes copied off the TV, not with commercial theatrical release discs) - and this isn't a problem with my older LG player. So it's gone back in its box, to be brought out only when my older player dies.

This item was found to be, great. The picture was lovely and clear. It was very easy to set up. If you need a 3D Smart Blue-Ray Player. I would recommend the Panasonic DMP-BDT180EB 3D Smart Blu-Ray Player.
