can i use this on my fabric shoes to seal my acrylic paint on them?

I've used it on sneakers before and not had any problems, just keep the coats as thin as possible because it helps the flex of the material you're spraying, i find it good quality too, not sure why someone said it's not appropriate, that's rubbish, sorry.

If you sprayed a ceramic button which has been hand painted, would you be able to wash it without painting disappearing?

Yes, with a couple of coats you won’t be able to scratch it and the finish is waterproof

is this item heat resistant ?

Never tested it for heat-resistance - I used it to coat a textured paint on bannisters; so I wouldn't be subjecting it to heat. My guess would be "not"...

Can this be used for a bare metal cast iron radiator?

Yes, it works very well with bare metals including cast iron. Ensure the radiator is clean (i.e. no grease or grime) and spray when the radiator is off. Use several light coats.
