EPADERM 270652 OINTMENT 1000g{1KG}

I picked up Epiderm cream to help with some skin irritation and it’s been a really useful addition to the bathroom cabinet. The texture is rich but spreads easily, and a little goes a long way. It feels gentle on the skin and doesn’t sting, even on more sensitive areas. I found it especially good for calming dryness and reducing that tight, uncomfortable feeling you get with irritated skin. It absorbs reasonably well for a thicker cream and leaves skin feeling protected and moisturised rather than greasy. It’s fragrance-free, which I prefer, and it works well as part of a wider skincare routine when your skin needs a bit of extra support. Overall, a simple, effective cream that does exactly what you want when your skin feels sore, dry or irritated.

This is a fantastic un-perfumed thick cream. It is very moisturising. Great for kids and adults

Best cream for any eczema or very dry skin, very thick tho and very greasy so best to put it on at night to let it absorb.

For some background, Ive suffered with eczema since I was a child. Things work for me for a while, but then my skin decides it hates whatever Im using, so i have to search all over again. After hearing good things about epaderm, I bought the cream. It was good, but I definitely didnt feel like it was quite enough, so I bought a little pot of the ointment to give it a go. The ointment was definitely there, i used it a couple of times a day on my worst flare ups and the bits that were just kinda there. For the ones that weren't as bad, the ointment was brilliant. It cleared up after around 3 days of daily use, which was a big plus! However, for the super bad flare up, I had to use the cream, let that sink in, then put on the ointment, but there was very little change. SO, if you have general eczema, and want it cleared up, absolutely get this! But if you have a bad flare up like me, be aware it may not clear that up. Obviously everyones skin is different and it may work amazing on your flare up! I will definitely purchase again for managing the general eczema, but will look for something else for flare ups :)

Like vaseline but because it is water based it dissolves really easily and washes out of clothes with no problems. It is a,great moisturiser but not instead of using a face cream but instead of using vaseline

I was originally prescribed Hydramol by the hospital but I found it over greasy and not easy to wash with. This is much easier to wash with. The texture is more velvety and absorbs better when used as a moisturiser. Perfect size for travel.

I had eczema badly as a child, it seemed to clear up but returned in my late twenties. I've found e45 and other readily available ointments/creams just don't work for me, it seems to degrade in minutes and i'm flaying myself scratching the heck out of my skin before long. I came across a tub of this by chance and I've found it to be the best preventative emollient. I'd say i'd tried about 6 or 7 different brands prior to this. If i use this I do not get rashes in these areas. I'm really hoping this stuff is around forever, I always have a kilo tub, I apply the ointment daily. As i said before it's the only one that's consistently worked for me. I do need to keep using it though, if I use any kind of regular shower gel without applying this then the itching soon begins! If you try this I hope it works for you, everyone is different but I've found this to be a lifesaver and I can't say enough good things about it. I'm not always great about leaving product reviews but i'm doing this because this stuff has drastically improved my eczema and therefore my life, if you're really suffering with it then it's definitely worth a go. I know how maddening eczema can be, sleepless nights and profusely bleeding in the middle of meetings etc because you've scratched the back of your knee into an open wound! In my case i'd probably cure whatever rashes i have with Eumovate (that's a steroid cream available over the counter in U.K pharmacies though I was prescribed a larger measure of it because a tiny tube is £10.00. It works but it's nasty and you don't want to use this stuff a lot), then areas that regularly rash up, put this stuff on it in abundance as a preventative measure. As long I apply this daily, i don't get any skin irritation or itching. It is greasy but if you're like me that's a worth while trade off for a rash free existence. I don't think you'd generally put it on your face but i don't see why you couldn't in all honesty. I'd ask the seller about that though if it concerns you just to be on the safe side!

My son has eczema and this cream was recommended by one of the dermatologist. I use it on his cheeks daily.
