Great just bought a second one as I realised you need 2 mattress protectors to rotate when one gets dirty—new parent brain just worked that out! High quality nice material

Arrived very promptly, and feels lovely. Does not rustle, or feel like plastic. Very happy with the quality of the product, and came in lovely packaging, so could be given as a gift. It lays on top of the pram mattress, and then you hold it in place with your own fitted sheet / flat sheet depending on preference. I guess if you wanted it to be more secure, you could attach a band of elastic to hold it on the mattress, but for me, I would be using a fitted sheet regardless, so it is not an issue. I have washed it already, and it washes very well, pegged on the line to dry, and it is as it was when it arrived. All in all, very happy with purchase, and would buy again.

You will need a waterproof surface for everything your baby sleeps on. I bought two of these- one for my baby's Schnuggle moses basket- it's a little bit short but does the job- and one for her Bugaboo Bee 5 carry cot, which fits perfectly. So she hasn't soaked them yet, but I'm sure it will happen at some point, as she is 16 days old and has plenty of time to cause trouble! These feel like they would be very comfortable for baby to lie on, under a sheet. She hasn't complained yet. Would recommend these- good value and arrive nicely packaged. I think these would also make a useful gift for new parents.

I had read up about SIDS and the need for a plastic backing in cribs as there maybe a correlation between a mould or the chemicals normally used in furnishings and the increase risk of SIDS and plastic lined cribs can apparently help to prevent this (creates a barrier to prevent the inhalation of microscopic mould/furnishing fumes). Anyways, I ordered two of these for the twinlets Moses baskets and liked the fact that although it had plastic inside it was no way visible on the outside and had no plastic feeling. It is made of what feels like a nice soft cotton liner with an oval shape. The outer covering on both sides is totally sewn encasing the waterproof material so nothing to dismantle when washing and was very nicely packaged although one box had slightly different re-branded / packaging to the other bought. Easy to wash, useful to also protect the mattress and organic! Lovely!

I bought lots of items from this brand they are really good quality and natural fabrics, highly recommend. My baby loved all of their products.

I’m surprised some people are upset that this lies on top of the mattress and has no elastic as that’s the entire point of buying an organic cover...the lack of petroleum products. It does tend to get bunched upon initial covering with a sheet, but it just takes a moment to spread it out and then it’s good to go. I like that it enables airflow underneath and that it is made from materials that aren’t toxic for my baby. I have two for our cot mattress, one for our snuzpod bassinet, and this one for our pram. I have included photos to show how it fits. It isn’t perfect by itself or with the sheet on top, but it’s just slightly smaller, which I don’t have a problem with. It will protect the mattress and is a great buy from that perspective! I love this brand, obviously, and their commitment to organic non-toxic and environmentally friendly baby products. I highly recommend!
