BaByliss 2100W Elegance Hair Dryer 5560KU High Gloss Raspberry

SO glad I bought this and utterly agree with other reviewers. I began dreading washing and drying my own hair which is past shoulder length and coloured. Granted I had had my previous dryer for a long while but I'd never have thought of changing it had it not been for leaving it at a friends house by mistake. Thank goodness or I'd never have realised how much driers have improved since.This cute little dryer is small, light, powerful and has a fantastic range of drying options. It dries my long colour saturated thick hair in five minutes. I would never have thought it was possible. Bad news for my hairdresser who I've been getting to wash and dry it weekly lately due to the time it took me to dry my hair at home with the old dryer, which was SO heavy in comparison, large, awkward to manoeuvre, had a minute air distribution area and took at least 20 minutes to dry my hair in between switching itself off every five minutes or so of being on "full" power (which is like a breath of air in comparison to the Babyliss".Even at full power this Babyliss produces a non stop continuous wide distribution of air which lifts hair at the roots without any effort at all. It's SO light and comfortable to use. The flex is a generous length and it is so compact it stores away neatly.LOVE IT - would recommend it to anyone.

Bought this to replace a Phillips model about 8 yrs old. Was a bit shocked at the size as it was a lot smaller than my old hairdryer. Thought I would at least give it a try and am so glad I did. Really lightweight but also powerful. My daughter has lovely straight hair which is very tjick and always took about 30 mins to dry. It was never totally dry and messed up overnight but not now. It takes half the time to dry and is very smooth and shiny. My hair is also very tjick and on top of that is coloured blonde. It never dried nicely unless I straightened it was always a frizzy mess. No longer! Again takes half the time to dry and is smooth and silky. Perfectly dry and looks like it's been straightened. Would highly reccomend to anyone. No more arm ache from a clumsy heavy drier, halfthe drying time and bteer results than I could have hoped for.

Bought this to replace a 6 year old version of the same dryer. Sadly the old one went to hairdryer heaven after the motor wore out. It has bee used once or twice a day, every day for 6 years. The dryer comes with a 3 year warranty, has a cool shot, two heat settings and is light and comfortable to use. There is a filter at the back that needs to be cleaned from time to time to keep the airflow freely running and dust/hair out. My only niggle is that the shape of the UK plug is a bit thin, looks good and is safe, but it makes it slightly difficult to unplug. Definitely recommended. Briefly looked at the Dyson, but I can buy 11 - 15 Babyliss for the price of the Dyson which means at least 66 years of use.

After reading lots of the reviews on Amazon I decided to go for this hairdryer over the other Babyliss options on account of it being stylish, lightweight and well reviewed. I was replacing an old Babyliss I'd had for about 8 years (specific type unknown), and wanted something lightweight but powerful. This definitely delivers on the weight front - it's lightweight, easy to use and not as cumbersome as my old dryer. However it could be more powerful - I don't find the highest setting super powerful even though I have quite fine hair. It also makes a slightly high-pitched noise when blowing on full. I have it on the lowest heat setting and it is quite hot, so don't think you'd ever need the higher settings without singeing your hair! Overall ok for the price, but looking back maybe I should have gone for a 2400v hairdryer.

My old purple version finally gave up the ghost. Tried everywhere to find a replacement, but couldn't. Bought Babyliss Bronze Shimmer instead, recommended in Boots. Couldn't get on with it at all, despite it being described as lightweight, I found it heavy and difficult to manoeuvre. Also blew my fine hair everywhere! Finally found the Elegance Raspberry online, hoping it was same as my old purple, I ordered it. Yippee!! It's the same! Light, easy to control, dries my shoulder length hair in 2 minutes flat, without me looking like I'd come through a hedge! Love it! Great value for money.

This is a repeat purchase of the same brand and similar model of hairdryer for me. The ones I've had in the past have been great for the price and this is no exception. It's really lightweight yet still very powerful and has a few different heat and speed settings and a cool shot. It has a swivel cord and I found the cord plenty long enough-I know some other reviewers have said the wire is too short for them but it's fine for me as I just plug into an extension lead. The other bonus is it looks great and very stylish-sort of a deep raspberry colour.

I've had this about 10 days so thought it time to write a review.The hairdryer arrived the day after ordering even though I didn't not ask for next day or express delivery - excellent service & well packaged.The dryer itself is very good - works really well; lots of heat and plenty of settings to chose from. The cool shot works well, but remember it is only cool not cold shot. Lots of people ask about the weight of the dryer, it's barely more than ½ a kilo so feels really light in the hand.My only slight criticism is that the cord could do with being about 2 feet longer, it's a shorter cable than the dryer it replaces.For the price you are paying, you seriously cannot go wrong.

It’s a nice colour but it doesn’t get that hot and I cannot tell the difference between the heat settings, but saying that it doesn’t take long to dry my hair, cannot say it leaves my hair shiny and the cool button does not let out cold air. I gave it three stars as it is light and a nice colour and it gets the job done.
