Absolutely the best
I bought a set of these 15 years ago, and wore them often. Just a few weeks ago the last one visit went missing... It was still in good nick, there's simply nothing to break or wear out on these lovely simple clips. I hunted at every local chemist for new ones to no avail. Amazon to the rescue! I'm delighted to have four clips again and looking forward to another 15 years of holding the front of my very thick hair out of my eyes!

Disappointing
Bought these thinking they were the same as the ones I used in the 70s. Sadly these are a lot smaller, and they don’t hold much hair. I guess okay if you have very fine hair. For me with medium to thick hair they are useless.

Goody barrettes are great value for your money. These barrettes are exactly 3” long which is perfect for my hair needs. The metal is very nice and the grip is perfect with no tugging at my hair. The bend in the barrettes help to hold the hair in place. These last a long time and are very dependable.

The only place I could find these were on Amazon. I use them for holding up my shorter hair when I wear a pony tail.
