Aveda Men Pure-Formance Care Clay

Really like the texture and smell of this product. I have used cheaper products before, but there is something about Aveda that gives off a better quality. You don’t need to use a lot, so it lasts a long time.

I really like this product. The smell is nice, and the hold is fantastic leaving your hair looking like it has no product in. No shininess or stickiness. I wouldn’t buy anything else now.

I have fine hair which turns a little fluffy after a shower. Using this Aveda hair paste is so easy and effective. A few small dabs on each hand and then I can place and style my hair in seconds. It provides a good hold but not so much that it either looks or feels too much. Aveda make very good products and this one is up there with the best of them. Highly recommended if you want your hair to stay put and not look fluffy.

I’ve tried plenty of hair products over the years, but this has been my go-to for over five now, and for good reason. It has the perfect balance of hold and flexibility - strong enough to keep my style in place but light enough to let my hair’s natural waviness come through. It never feels greasy or heavy, and it gives a matte, natural finish rather than that overly slick or stiff look. Bonus: it smells great too. If you’re after a reliable, long-lasting product that keeps your hair looking effortless but controlled, this is the one!

It ain't cheap, but it lasts a bloody long time - providing you are not trying to tame a mane of hair - a little goes a long way. Instructions say can be used on damp or dry hair - from my experience damp hair = zero hold, dry hair = good hold with matte finish as described. If you are looking for a solid firm hold this is not the product for you. Smells decent, washes off your hands easily and seems like a fair compromise between natural (fully paraben free) crap holding and hair isn't moving but you'll it will fall out/ die of cancer chemical heavy alternatives

Easy to apply and completely natural product.

Unfortunately - like many others it seems - I was enticed into buying this based on several promising reviews. First Impressions: I received the product today, and the first thing I noticed was the smell - not pleasant in any way as described by others, but a very sickly, bitter, 'disinfectant' type of scent (like the type used to clean hospitals). I've purchased a few hair products recently as one I had been using was discontinued, and this one has the worst smell out of all of them which is a shame considering the higher end price. Hold Factor: This product has equally poor 'hold' factor. My hair is not long, and despite the tub saying to 'use a small amount' (which I did at first) I had to use more than was ideal to get any kind of shape into my hair. After about 10-15 minutes, my hair started to feel flat and had not retained any of the original shape. I didn't want it to be 'rock solid' or anything like that, just shapable with good hold, but this did not come close to even the £5 brands I've seen elsewhere on Amazon. Summary: Needless to say, this product from Aveda is a hard avoid, and a lesson learned that a higher price does not mean higher quality by any means. If I manage to find a better replacement elsewhere I'll update this review to suggest an alternative, but for now I can safely say you are better off saving your money and steering clear of this product altogether (unless you enjoy smelling like sickly citrus bleach of course).

Quality product, nice smell and decent hold.

Einfach das Beste für die Haare, ich verteile es im trockene Haar, hier denkt man anfangs, dass es klebrig ist aber das Haar lässt sich dann gut kämmen oder stylen. Es hält den ganzen Tag und wenn man sich durch die Haare fährt klebt das Haar nicht zusammen und auch die Hände werden nicht klebrig. Es lässt sich super auswaschen, da hatte ich schon Probleme mit Sandcreme oder diverse andere Kleister die selbst mit Haarwaschmittel nicht zur Gänze rausgingen. Der Geruch erinnert an Natur - ist aber nach dem einarbeiten fast nicht mehr wahrnehmbar. Die Haare bekommen keinen Glanz oder Nasseffekt - es sieht alles natürlich aus. Ich hatte schon echt viele Produkte probiert, doch dieses ist einfach Top. Man kommt wirklich lange aus deswegen finde ich den Preis gerechtfertigt.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My salon changed to a new product line and I just don’t like it as much as this Aveda product! Works great on short hair to give a moldable but strong hold. Best thing I like about this product specifically is it keeps your hair feeling soft and doesn’t leave that weird residue on your hair.

Es un cera muy suave de peinado. Muy poca fijación, yo la uso en cabello largo para controlar el encrespado. Poco más.
