Good sturdy step ladder, easy to fold flat & store. Not too heavy for an old bird to move into place& firm treads for safety.

The stepladder is quite heavy but very sturdy with wide non slip steps. A very good price!

3 STEP LADDER REVIEW1/ This set of step ladders is sold as a prime delivery item. I am a prime delivery member but have experienced a high percentage of prime next day delivery failures. I elected to use the no rush delivery option, gaining the digital credit. As a result, the delivery period should represent what a non prime member can expect and a prime member on next day should be able to expect better.2/ The ladders were delivered quickly which was a total of 5 days including order and delivery day with a weekend in the middle of that. So fast prompt delivery. Reasonably well protected and the packaging was easily removed.3/ The ladders themselves are solid. Heavy enough to give me confidence that they are not going to collapse underneath me.4/ They are made of a tubular metal which gives strength to the structure.5/ All the welds / joints are neat tidy and as best I can tell properly done.6/ The folding mechanism is effective but being brand new are really stiff. I have given them a good dose of a combination of WD 40 and a silicon spray. This loosened slightly but only opening and closing will do the job as joints was slightly.7/ The one thing I do not like are the end covers / feet. They consist or very, I consider, lightweight plastic rubberised grommets and I will be replacing them with walking stick grommets at the very first chance I get.8/ The treads are suitable for my UK size 10 feet and the material is not nasty under my bare foot, even providing a little grip. They are not slippy. All that said, I would be disinclined to use the top of the three steps, I think it would be very easy to overbalance. Stick to the second of the steps using the top as a convenient hand hold.9/ All of that said, It will be my wife who will use these more often than I will and it is a very welcome addition to her 5ft 1.5 inch life. The step ladders do as they should. They fold into a slender profile so store nicely, in our case between american fridge freezer and wall. These steps at £15.99 delivered, represent excellent value even with my having to spend a fiver or so on grommets (lose a star for that) Other internet buys are generally inferior products or more expensive. High street costs, when I was searching for a set were often double this price. Lovely sturdy little ladder, ideal for use around the house, not too heavy either, well worth the price

Strong and well-finished product, the steps are a super suitable size and have effective anti-slip, providing a lot of safety, I recommend it.

The story:I have very high ceilings being in a 19th Century stone cottage and the highest shelves in the kitchen cabinets requires me to be elevated. Been searching well known high street retailers and also online for quite some time now and found the majority to be eye wateringly pricey to say the least.Discovered these 4 Step Steel Portable Folding Heavy Duty Ladders which are supplied and delivered by Amazon, so with confidence ordered a set ÜThe Product:Measuring H127cmxW46cmxL98cm and constructed of alloy steel with a loading capacity of 150kg.Height of the top platform is 98cm with a useful holding bar should you feel the need. The platform and treads are a substantial size at 20cm depth and 30.5cm width. The distance from the front to the back legs when open is 87cm. The safety locking mechanism at the top step is easy to use; I don’t understand the difficulties being mentioned by other reviewers.I have stone floors and therefore stability is a number one priority; need not have worried with these, they are extremely stable and I feel completely safe on them.The verdict:I have mild arthritis in both wrists and one shoulder, but found that whilst these are weighty at 7.8kg, I am able to carry them quite easily.Setting them up is a breeze and the height is absolutely perfect for my needs (reaching the back of top shelves in a kitchen cabinet).The treads are wide and deep enough to feel secure; likewise the top platform.They are unobtrusive and easily able to be stored under the stairs (or wherever) mine are comfortably sited in the pantry and don’t get in the way, frame depth when closed 3.5cm.All in all a sturdy and useful set of steps which no home should be without.For me a good purchase and excellent value for money (at £27.95) they are highly recommended.The above narrative is the view of my personal opinion only and does not in any way represent Amazon EU S.à.r.L.CENTIMETRES to FEET & INCHES (all measurements are approximate):127cm (4’2”) 46cm (1’6”) 98cm (3’2”) 150kg (23½ stones)20cm (8”) 30.5cm (12”) 87cm (2’10”) 7.8kg (1stone 3lbs) 3.5cm (1.3”)
