Easy to use and cheap(ish) to run.
This machine is so simple to use even my 4 year old can make hot chocolate with it (under supervision). One button operation, hold the button down for hot water. It even tells you if you have enough water before it will start a pod. Cleaning is easy, just pick up a set of cleaning brushes that will get in the nozzle and you should be fine. The cleaning/descaling tablets are fairly cheap and available from the Tassimo store.I find the americarno type or be very consistent. The Costa, Kenco ones are on the smoother side but the LOR XL is the more bitter Italian style. I’d assume the espresso would be the same but I haven’t tested it.I’m not a fan of the milk capsules. They’re OK but definitely not as good as real milk. The Tassimo site is good. The only problem with it is your 2 discount codes are under machine registration, took me a while find. The offers also cancel each other out but once you understand what’s what you can make it work for you. I’ve never had to pay full price for an order with £10 off £30 order, 30% discount, bulk buy discount etc... being available regularly. They also have all the pods to chose from, unlike the supermarket. The pods can be recycled but the drop in stations are a bit sparse. I’m guessing this will improve over time as retailers get involved.I’ve never had a problem with Bosch. My oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are all Bosch and never let me down. I can’t see this simple but effective machine letting me down either. It’s so good it’s gonna be my go to Xmas Present for a few people.

Perfect little machine
I've bought a few things in the past which have made my life easier, better, more enjoyable etc, etc. from Satnavs to stubble trimmers, but this little beauty is a real gem.Was meaning to buy a coffee machine for the last 2 years, but never got round to it, and was finally tempted by the Bosch Tassimo offer - I'm so glad I did.Unbelievable value at forty quid, and bought it with the Kenco Grande Americano pods, which are really close to the taste of most coffee shop Americano's I've certainly tasted. Great value too, I received 80 pods for about £17 delivered, so around 20 odd pence per cup. Perfect strongish coffee with lovely frothy top!I use filtered or Bottled water as recommended. I'm sure it tastes better and helps prevent scaling.Had a small issue with the red warning light appearing (preventing normal operation, usually showing low water level) but soon realised that the bar code lens in the pod holder needed a wipe, and no more problems. You know you're about to enjoy your coffee when the kitchen fills with that coffee shop aroma. The machine wakes up as soon as you pop in a pod, does it thing and goes to sleep again soon after. It's an absolute steal at the price and I can't recommend it highly enough! We'll done Bosch, Tassimo and Kenco, you've brightened up my mornings!

Over 330 uses and no issues so far...
Yes, I spend a lot of money on Tassimo pods, and after working out how often me and my fiancé use the Bosch Tassimo Vivy 2 coffee machine, it would appear it’s had well over 330 uses.So far, it’s been the best coffee machine to date, I’ve owned two previous coffee machines (similar price range), which have both gone faulty and had their issues. The Bosch Vivy 2 is well made, with my engineering background, I can always feel a good quality product before using it, the Vivy 2 is well manufactured. It delivers fantastic drinks. The pod disposal is fast, it’s the perfect temperature and is able to fill a large cup. The steam production at the end tricks you into thinking you’re in Starbucks or Costa for a split second. With Tassimo providing a wide range of pods, you’re most certainly going to find your favourite drink. The Kenco Americano is my favourite, it tastes as good as a £2.50+ coffee off the high street. You are also able to use the yellow service pod to product hot water. I contacted Tassimo, who confirmed you are able to do so - which was great when my kettle decided to stop working (it’s a handy backup).Although it’s the best coffee machine I’ve owned so far, it still has its draw backs.- There isn’t enough water storage, so it feels like you’re constantly topping it up.- Once your drink of choice is ready, the machine sometimes continues to ‘drip’, leaving the under-tray sticky, dependant on the pod used.Overall, for the value, it’s a must have for your kitchen. Tassimo pods aren’t too expensive if you shop sensibly (and don’t buy them as often as I do), and the Vivy 2 will produce incredible drinks.

Little belter!
My interest was piqued when I saw a tv offer for coffee machines for 1p but after looking on Amazon found this little beauty. It’s small so doesn’t take up much more space than a toaster. It’s very easy to set up, easy to clean and very quick to get a lovely cup of your favourite coffee!I’ve had it now for about 2 weeks and just today I discovered a little tip! I was making a Cadbury’s chocolate and the tank needed a refill of water, I noticed that the kettle had been recently boiled so filled the tank with that. It wasn’t absolutely boiling, it was just hot. Now, when a hot chocolate is made just using the water in the tank, it leaves a lot of “wet” chocolate powder in thepod, wasting a lot of the lovely powder, perhaps the temperature in the machine just gets hot enough, but when I removed the pod after using the hot water in the tank, the pod was virtually empty! It made a difference to the taste, and the drink was overall just hotter. (The kettle is always on in our house, so can’t see any increase in using more electricity)Maybe someone will shoot me down in flames for this but it worked for me and if it saves wasting stuff then it can only be a good thing.
