Seems good
The compartment is actually big enough to just about fit 2 car key fobs without key rings ( depending on your car) or comfortably 1 key fob on its own. Easy to change the code and seems reasonably robust. One nice feature is that you can't scramble the combination unless it is securely shut. Perfect for what i need, however, im not sure I'd be comfortable leaving my keys in it in an exposed area, as im fairly sure a committed theif would be able to break it open in short order

I am continually using this lock - it has been so useful
I have had this product for several years now and it has been so useful. I attach it to my car when I am off doing water sports and it keeps my keys safe.It is not often you buys something so enduringly useful on line. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very secure
Very secure and well engineered.Only quibbles would be :The combination dials are quite small - hard to work with cold fingersThe actual secure space inside is very small. I had to take a few keys off my key ring for my bunch of house / garage / car / bike keys to fit in there. I would say, a couple of credit cars, a house key and a car key would fit in easily. But not much space after that. The hoop is big and solid so you can fasten it round suspension components etc.Nice unit.

Great Product
I got this product because I was fed up with my kids forgeting to take their door key with them when they went out and phoning me up because they couldn't get in lol.Not much to say about it really, it's very sturdy and well made and can be secured anywhere as long as the shakle fits round the object. The combination can be user set and when you spin the dials they stop at the 0000 which is a bonus to me because after locking I can just flick my thumb up and all the dials stop at 0000 leaving no room for anyone to even begin to guess your combination. Please note though before buying this item there is NOT a great amount of room inside, it's really for storing keys without keyrings attached and maybe one or two flat items, so please do not buy if you plan storing a bunch of keys as well as a wallet etc.Great product :) very well made and has a good quality lock mechanism, your items WILL be safe inside and weatherproof.I hope this helps :)

ok, but a few issues
I swim/kayak so need to leave the key safe on my car. Looks ok and sturdy but after a few months using it i have a few issues with it.Firstly, it is quite stiff to open/close. Not the actual door but the click of the padlock. Sometimes it wont click down so i have to really push it. Then i get worried that i wont be able to unlock it! Hopefully that wont happen.Secondly when i have it finally locked and go to move the dials to change the numbers they wont move. So it can be fiddly. Winter swimming means hands don't move so great so this can be a pain!Lastly, there seems to be a bit of corrosion on the inside. This could be because i have wet salty hands grabbing my key in/out so i try to wipe the box every week with water to remove salt and i also use WD40 on the latch hoping it will losen up the lock and keep it from rusting.I haven't used it in the rain as yet but others have commented that its not waterproof. Not holding out much hope this will last long. Id say there are better out there so dont think i would buy this one again just because i dont really trust it!

Robust Key safe at a great price
Cleverly designed key safe , good instructions, easy to set up with own combination code. Thanks a million Mooncode....no more keys hidden behind the tyres!

A bit less room inside than you would think but does the job.
Feels fairly substantial. I use it at home rather than when out in the car - I would think that many car keys with fob attached would be quite difficult to cram into the space inside - it looks from the outside as though there is a lot more usable space than there is. For my purposes though (spare door key) it's absolutely fine. I've wrapped the key in a plastic bag as I think that encroaching damp might be a problem as it's kept outside.Seems like quite good value, and does what I require.

Although there is a lot of room inside, I was hoping to put a gate remote inside. But there was not enough room for that. It's great for a car key with alarm remote and other very small items (like a credit card or another set of keys). The pad on back of the lock does protect the surface it rest on. It's a good buy.

Massiccio
Ottimo prodotto in materiale metallico massiccio.

Vielen Dank.
