I have an ipod touch and the battery life is only a few hours. Is there a reason for this? one review said it lasts 18 hours???

Would probably last 18 hours if you didn't use it!! My daughter gets about 2-3 hours screentime max, but bear in mind she's streaming on youtube and using gaming apps which isn;t really its intended purpose, it's meant to be for music and the fact you can do everything else is a bonus.
