Recommended to me by my Podiatrist for Plantar Fasciitis ARCH pain --- Sizing runs SMALL
GOOD BITS: The brand and style recommended to me by my Podiatrist, and she's a great doctor. The sleeve is both much easier to use than an ace bandage, and far more evenly compressive and supportive. It gives plenty of arch support for my Plantar Fasciitis arch pain. Within one day of wearing my feet were feeling much better and I could stay on my feet longer. Slim enough to wear with any shoe, and can be worn to bed as well, which seems to help with the morning pain.BAD BITS: Sizing is WAY off! I am glad I tried them on for size with the podiatrist, because though I am a woman's shoe size 8 the size LARGE of this item works perfectly for my needs, and the medium was much too tight. I think the size chart here recommends small for my size feet--there is just no way that's gonna happen. So I would recommend trying them on first before purchasing, or ordering at least a size up.

it became so bad. So I was on the internet one night
I developed plantar fasciitis after trying to jog. I jogged for 10 minutes one morning, and haven't walked normal since. That was in early January of this year. I actually had to buy crutches to walk, it became so bad. So I was on the internet one night, entirely fed up with this problem, and started looking everywhere for help. I found this on Amazon, got it, tried it, and man O man the difference it's made in my life. It hasn't healed my foot, but it makes it possible to walk around without much pain, and that's good enough for me. If I know I'm going somewhere where I'll be on my feet, I put this on, and actually get to enjoy myself. The other thing that has helped is a video online that shows you how to stretch the plantar fascia. Stretching it, and massaging your heel to break up the scar tissue has helped me more than I can say. If I forget to stretch it one day, I'm sore the next, and that's how you know it works. That, coupled with this sleeve, has given me the ability to get back to almost, normal!

works well, good buy
Although it doesn't feel as tight as some other compression socks I've bought before, it works well. The tighter on the arch, the better for my plantar fasciitis issues. But this works well if you don't like it as tight as I might. It's pretty snug though and doesn't take away from your circulation!

This sleeve was a great purchase!
I saw this sleeve advertised elsewhere for a higher price and decided to try it through Amazon at a substantial savings. It still seemed like it was overpriced when I ordered it, but now I know it has been worth every penny. The sleeve provides very good support and compression which has helped my ruptured plantar fascia feel better while I patiently wait for it to heal. The sleeve has held up well through repeated wearings and washings. If you have plantar fascia issues, please give this sleeve a try before you pay more for one of those other wacky contraptions!

One of my feet was worse than the other
I bought this after months of suffering from plantar fasciitis, and it really did help to resolve the pain. I did find some down-sides to this product, though. First, I didn't anticipate having to wear the sleeve except while working as a nurse, but ended up wearing it almost constantly (only taking it off to sleep, basically). So the look of it - blue and white checkered pattern - wasn't really ideal when wearing shoes that made the sleeve visible (flip flops, heels, etc). I still WORE it, but was constantly answering "oh, what happened to your foot?!" when I was wearing it out and about, since it was so noticeable. Second, the product description listed it as a PAIR, but I only received one sleeve. One of my feet was worse than the other, so I ended up only wearing it on the worse foot, but it was still disappointing to not receive what I expected when I ordered it. Also, after about 8 months of near-constant wear, the fabric over my heel got a small hole in it, which quickly turned into a large gaping hole. So I stopped wearing it and found a different product at Walgreens. It helped when I wore it, but won't be buying it again!

Great and comfortable!
I have had this sock for three days and it's amazing!! My heal pain is almost completely gone! I wish I had gotten this long before now! Pay attention to the product because it only comes in one size and if you have a large foot it's not going to fit. I only needed one sock so it was ok that it comes that way! I do find it a tad uncomfortable to sleep with it on!

I still keep it on most of the day but I hate to think how painful this foot would be without ...
Wow, I'm so grateful to my co-worker for telling me about this product. After 6 weeks of various home remedies, I was still barely getting around. This elastic sock had me walking almost normally as soon as I put it on! At first, I was wearing it night and day except for shower time. Now, I usually don't need it at night, after another 6 weeks. I still keep it on most of the day but I hate to think how painful this foot would be without this little miracle worker on! I'm not sure why it works but it does - worth every penny!

Boy, the sizes aren’t accurate I wasted a lot of money
I’m a size 9 woman I needed a full sock the first two that I bought from Amazon were not the right size but you can’t tell him anything until you put it on and wear it and realize it’s the wrong size I bought four pair all the same size to fit perfectly to or too small so if the vendor is reading this, give me my money back for two socks or send me two of these planter fasciitis sleeves for free
