EASY TO USE PRODUCT
This product works very well as for the freeze protection and have only tested it in the low 20's. The actual tape, however, does not stick to itself very well, so I recommend wrapping the start and finish with 3M 88 electrical tape, or another rubber tape or it will unravel. Otherwise, it is a good product for South Texas.

Easy to Work With, Durable & Clean Look
I purchased the Redford Supply Co. 2” x 14 ft Outdoor Pipe Insulation Wrap, and I’m very impressed with the overall quality. First off, it was very easy to cut to size. A sharp utility knife went through it cleanly without tearing or fraying, which made installation straightforward. The material has a solid, dense feel — not flimsy or cheap — and it wraps nicely around pipes without fighting you. The look is clean and professional once installed. It has a smooth, finished appearance that holds up well outdoors instead of looking like temporary insulation. Durability seems excellent. The outer layer feels tough enough to handle weather exposure, and it provides solid protection against temperature swings. It gives peace of mind knowing the pipes are better protected from freezing conditions and general outdoor wear. Overall, great quality, easy installation, strong protection, and worth the investment. I would definitely purchase again.

works but doesn't play well with others
works as advertised my only complaint is it doesn't stick real well and hard to work with when wrapping.

Protects Pipes Perfectly for Winter
I installed the Redford Supply Co. 2 inch x 14 ft pipe insulation on my outdoor pipes, and it works exactly as advertised. The wrap is thick, easy to handle, and fits snugly around standard pipes. It’s made winter-proofing my plumbing so much easier, and I feel confident that it will help prevent freezing or damage during the cold months. I also appreciate that it’s flexible enough to wrap around bends without tearing. Overall, this is a simple, effective solution for protecting outdoor pipes, and it’s well worth having on hand before winter hits.

Not good
It’s not very good. The insulation looks like it’s decent, but the sticky stuff does not stick to anything. I had to use duct tape to hold it in place.

Not sticky but otherwise Works as intended AND is expensive
Works as intended, besides adhesive AND it is expensive. So I would ensure you really need it for your use case. I got a 14ft roll. Obviously, this does not cover 14ft. Even when overlapping the bare minimum I covered maybe 3ft of pipe. Just looking at it, it will last forever and endure far more than the classic pool noodles. Quality is evident. Thickness is sufficient. The adhesive will hold as long as you ziptie or tape the ends of the section. So #1 concern is cost efficiency. And to save time, consider the overlapping when choosing quantity.

Great product!
I used this to insulate the plumbing for my pool. It was below freezing (mostly below zero) for a week straight and none of the pipes froze! So, it works really well! As fast as application goes, it was very easy to apply to the pipes. I did have to periodically use some black duct tape to ensure it didn’t come off during the bad weather. I didn’t prep the pipes so I have a feeling that if they were completely squeaky clean then the adhesive would have been sufficient. I highly recommend this pipe insulation!
