Thanks for publishing this little gem
Most of the maths puzzle or problem books are oriented to time pressed 11plus exams. This little gem has nicely graded problems, answers explained nicely, going beyond standard 11plus ( for which there are a million other books). My son and I are enjoying solving the problems in this book at a leisurely pace.

Excellent collection of puzzles for a range of abilities
This book is full of enjoyable problems, with a well-constructed progression, which allows you to both challenge yourself and gain a satisfying sense of accomplishment with every puzzle solved. If you're looking to spark interest in the elegance of maths, whether your experience is limited to early secondary school maths, or quite a bit more advanced, this is a great source of inspiration.

11+ help
This book is for the more able and keen mathematicians and gives them that extra challenge. We used it to get the kids prepared for 11+ and it really helped .

Brilliant maths puzzles
My son (11) absolutely loves this maths puzzle book. He took it to school to show his maths teacher, and he loved it too and they often do problems together in class. It is definitely for the child/adult who is 'into maths', but it's great because it challenges you and makes maths fun and relevant. We love it in our family and ever since my husband got the name of it wrong and called it 'the stretchy maths book', that is what it has become to us! Congrats Daniel Griller on a great stretchy maths book.

In Elastic Numbers Daniel writes questions that encourage you to think and see the beauty of probleming solving.Even the easiest problems prepare you the style of thinking that's not usually taught in schools and the harder problems are great fun!

Just what I needed!
Excellent questions, wide range of difficulty. As a maths teacher, I now take this book to all my lessons. Finish your work early and you get one of these mathematical treats! There's something for everyone here. As far as I know, this is the best resource of it's kind. I reckon the questions will last me a year or so. Better get on with writing volume 2 Daniel!

Let Elastic Numbers stretch your brain
The questions become progressively harder as you go through the book. The book is broken down into 4 sections: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. The earlier chapters get you into gear ready to tackle the Diamond chapter. There is a question in the Diamond chapter which is a true gem of originality. Worth buying the book just for that beautiful problem.
