Very happy with it!
Great little tool. After reading reviews on here for various chain tools I decided to choose this one. I made the right choice, the price was good and the tool works very well. Good price to quality ratio. It took me a few turns and the chain pin slid out easily, by hand. It's sturdy and small enough to fit in my little under seat tool bag on rides. I needed to shorten my chain by a few links and this did the job perfectly! The brand also has very helpful videos on YouTube to guide on repairs as well. It was delivered before the expected arrival time. Although this was over a week, but I was expecting 2 weeks. Very happy with it!

With Care Gets The Job Done
Used this to break 11 speed KMC e-bike chain. I found it a bit fiddly to keep the punch lined up with the chain rivet. What happens is, you get it lined up, but as the punch contacts the chain rivet the rotation moves it so it is no longer lined up. On one occasion after the rivet had been pushed through, when I unscrewed the tool the punch unscrewed and detached, easy enough to screw back in though. I think it does need used with care, if a lot of pressure is applied when the punch is not lined up with the chain rivet, I'd fear it might just bend the location prongs. I'ts not a bad tool considering it's size and that it's not intended for every day use, there are no huge issues when used carefully, I'm happy enough to keep it in my tool kit, it's small enough to go in the carry with kit for on the move repairs. Not perfect perhaps, but does get the job done. I haven't used the tight link loosening function so can't comment on that.

Well made
I have had several chain splitters that have not survived the test of time and although this one is a bit more expensive it is very well made and also if required you can change the centre pin . Great product

Small but very effetive.
Not a lot one can say. It's very small, no doubt about that. It also works perfectly. I tested it on a spare chain, and it removed a rivet/link with very little effort. All that is required is to ensure that the pin that presses out the rivet is properly aligned with the rivet to be removed, and out it comes. If the handles were any longer it would take up more space. If the handles were any shorter they would be too short to give the required leverage. I have yet to use it "in anger" but its diminutive size and minimal weight means that it will accompany my bike, together with a spare split link, at all times. In the unlikely event of a broken chain I will be up and cycling again in no time. Not tested its ability to re-join a chain, but split links are cheap, so carrying a spare split link "just in case" is no real hardship.

Best value for money chain tool
Perfect tool. Strong, compact and works great. If you need anything bigger you can do damage the chain. With this tool if it's not working properly check you alignment to the pin and try again. Once its aligned correctly it works perfectly.

Best Buy
This tool is way better than i expected. I use this all the time to put chains on and take them off. Really easy to use and has loads of strength in it. I was worried I'd get something cheap that would break while putting the pin back in. The pin takes quite a bit of torque to get back in but this tool manages it just fine. I've used it more times than I can count to put the pins back in and it's defiantly man enough for the job.

Performed exactly as I needed it to. I gave a 4 out of 5 on ease of use, because it takes a little bit of toying around with grips to find the right way to get enough force on it to push the chain pins out. And pushing the chain pins out took quite a bit of force (as you'd hope). But I've ridden roughly 100 miles since changing it and its working perfectly, and the tool feels study enough to feel like it'll last forever, but it also small enough that on longer distance rides I can pop it in my bag with no worries about taking up very much space or weighing me down. Tips: -When pushing the pins out of a connection you want to connect again after, be careful not to push it all the way out. Ideally push out enough that you can take the link apart, but that the pin is still in the outer bit. If you push it all the way out then it seems like it would be very difficult to put back in (I did this and tried for a little bit and just decide to go to another link). So be careful when getting close to that point (when I got to this point I would do this by tightening it like a 1/4 or 1/2 turn and taking it out and seeing if it seperates). -Make sure you use the link loosener. The directions that come with it gave two different options for putting the chain (one for pushing pins in / pushing pins out, and another for loosening links). What I didn't realize is that when I put the pins in that they were very tight and needed to be loosened. So don't overlook this step.
