Brains, brawn, sensitivity 5*
Fantastic product and I have to say great Amazon reseller (HiFix). This is a hefty delivery, but shipped / delivered promptly. No fuss, polite comms and stellar returns option (although I certainly have no need of).I'm pleased to say this sub is the real deal. It is my first Wharfedale purchase and I am very impressed. Replacing a 12yo Mordaunt Short Sub, the differences are apparent: well thought out controls (tactile volume / frequency top & front controls which are presence sensitive), every connection possible (single lead sub in providing best oomph from my Pioneer amp) and solid, stylish finish (Blackwood for me).My minimal setup is Pioneer XHM86D Network Receiver + Wharfedale Diamond 230's + Powercube. Currently experimenting with HiRes audio from HDTracks UK and its sings like a canary. No regrets whatsoever, a sub with equal muscle and sensitivity. Highly recommended.

Good, decent sub woofer
Was delivered earlier then expected which is fortunate, although the initial lead time for delivery was over 3 weeks away for some bizarre reason. Took just under a week in the end. Woofer is of a nice build quality and the sound is nice with responsive deep low frequencies. Sub woofer is quite heavy itself and the screw on metal spikes come with plastic feet too to protect wooden floors etc. Nice sub woofer and I like the lights that come on automatically when you're nearby. I'm happy with my purchase. Well priced and great sound for a quality sub woofer.

Superb Sub
I bought this to go with my Dali Pico surround sound speakers as the Dali subwoofer seemed a bit steep at £399. Very pleased with the purchase, this sub blends brilliantly with the Dali Picos and sounds superb with both music (via my Fiio FLAC player), and TV. Deep tightly controlled bass. Looks really smart too ! I'm also finding the situating of the volume and crossover frequency controls on the top front of the sub very convenient.

Great value subwoofer by Wharfedale
great addition to my surround speakers. Adds a much needed bass sound, and great value too. Auto on/off works well. I am using the amp to control crossover at 80hz, working well.

Very good subwoofer
This subwoofer is well built and works perfectly in my existing speaker system. I would definitely recommend it and the supplier.
