Lékué3407600V09U004 Steam Case, Green, 3-4 People

I have bought two different sizes of these lekue products. They are magnificent in my opinion. They have transformed my kitchen. No more bulky steamers for my veg for a start. They're so useful and versatile. They are so quick and easy to use and to clean afterwards.Can't recommend them enough.

Lekue is life-changing. Vegetables actually taste better than boiled and it is perfect for cooking when you are busy doing other things like looking after a child while you work from home (or watching tv) and can't be keeping an eye on a pot on the stove. I've also cooked things from frozen as well as quinoa, fish and eggs. Flavour is always great. Very easy to clean too and won't make a mess in your microwave.

I got this for a boyfriend that aims to prepare food as simple and as fast as possible, otherwise he won't bother.Ever since he got this, he tried a lot of new recipes and even started experimenting on his own. Vegetable soup, salmon or chickpea curry is just a few of the things he attempted.The silicone is easy to rinse and the lid keeps the microwave clean and the flavor bountiful. You can also reheat food in this.A good addition in the kitchen of very busy people.

I have used shorter lekues in the past, and they are amazing. This one gave me some trouble when being full of diced potatoes, but otherwise it is quite a good purchase. So easy and fast to prepare a meal.

I bought the 1 to 2 people, Steam Case (650 ml) and this one for 3 to 4 people (1 litre), they are similar items. If I was only buying one I’d go with this one plus the tray.The tray purchased separately is stiffer and flat, retaining its shape well.I don’t believe the people numbers are really all that helpful, it’s more about what you’re cooking.This Deep Steam Case the larger of the two is almost the same length as the 650 ml Steam Case and a little wider and a lot deeper, just put less in for one or two people.Having used the 650 ml Steam Case to precook some potatoes, I used the Deep Steam Case tray as a colander (worked perfectly).For me the fact it’s all made from silicone and can be used in my combi microwave in any of it’s cooking modes (not sure I’d use it close to the grill) is important.I’ve been cooking a stuffed chicken in it, I’d recommend if you’re cooking something heavy like the chicken have a plate or something underneath to assist in taking it out. I’ve cooked a few more heavier things since I wrote this as the silicone becomes hotter (for me things I’ve been giving longer cooking times at lower settings) I’d recommend putting a plate or tray under any thing being cooked for more than a few minutes. I know I will be.Two small tips1) I’ve read that the green is more lightly to show stains.2) if you’re not bothered about the colour check the price of both it may not be the same.

It is a really nice product ! It is perfect to prepare healthy meals in a few minutes.

Easy to use and easy to clean. Smart and useful.

I didn't really pay attention for the size, but it was too big for my 20L microwave. It slightly touches the wall even if I try placing it exactly in the middle, so the turntable gets off from the base and stops turning all the time.Besides I don't like the smell - it smells silicon. I was worried if it was fine and made a research, it seems it is common to have some sort of smell for silicon pod. But the smell makes me lose the appetite.However, I am fed up sharing a kitchen with my flatmates, so no hob at the moment then this product is super helpful. I have my microwave in the room and this product certainly broaden my life of food.

I used it to cook vegetables, quite convenient.

Un utensilio perfecto para apoyar en la cocina. Permite cocer prácticamente cualquier cosa en el microondas en muy poco tiempo, sin darle sabor ni olor a plástico o goma.Lo usamos a menudo para una primera cocción previa al horno lo cual reduce mucho tiempo el tiempo total de cocinado. Por ejemplo patatas, puerros, zanahorias,... Primero 2 o 3 minutos en el Lekue al micro y luego a acabar en el horno

Ich habe gleich die Lékué - XL Box gekauft, da sie im Angebot war 😁Was soll ich sagen..einfach perfekt !!!!Ich wollte kein weiteres elektrisches Gerät in der Küche 😒 Ich dachte ..versuche das Teil einfach mal aus, wenns nicht taugt kann ich es ja zurückschicken.Erster Versuch //1/2 Süsskartoffen 1 orange Paprika 1 Zwiebel gewürfelt und in die Form geklopptbisschen Gemüsebrühe Curry Salz und Pfeffer5 min bei 800 Watt // rantasten, da es auf die Grösse der Stücke ankommt.Das Gemüse war perfekt gegart und hatte einen super intensiven Geschmack. Das Ganze dann samt dem Sud in eine Schüssel gegeben und einen Löffel Frischkäse drauf 👌 jammijammiDie Box ist sehr wertig und sauber verarbeitet, ich liebe Sie. Nun steht meiner Ernährungsumstellung nix mehr im Weg und ich werde viele neue Rezepte testen.Absolute Kaufempfehlung

This is an awesome product. Saves so much time. I put a plate under this when using in microwave to catch any spillovers if any. A little caution to open lid sideways is required. Perfect
