I took a chance on this product when it had no reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything fit properly, all parts were in the package and it seems robust. The hardest part of the installation was having to remove the bottom muffler to get to the star bolt on the original setup and install the new screw for the brake rod. Lots of ads say this setup won't work with 2 into one exhaust, engine guards and crash bars. I have a mustache type crash guard and everything fits perfectly. Look at what I have in my photos and if you have nearly the same, I would assume everything will fit.Overall, I would highly recommend this setup. Just make sure you use a generous amount of blue Lock Tite.

I’ve recently started modding my sporty to a Bobber. These fit on a 2020 iron 883. The instructions are laughable, but I’m a beginner and a few YouTube videos later I had these on in about an hour or 2. I think I spent more time trying to psych myself up that I could do it. Install itself was easy enough, nothing was misaligned or damaged or anything like that.They look nice, I’m happy with them. They are lighter and flex a bit, but I hardly notice and doubt they are even flexing when I’m riding.I took a star due to instructions and the fact that I was missing a spring washer; They could also be stronger but it’s not like they are weak. But I do recommend if you aren’t willing to shell out 500 bucks for Harley’s, especially if you’re not even sure you’ll like forward controls (you’re crazy if you don’t after you feel how badass it is to ride with them).If the manufacturer is reading this, I would gladly pay double if you could make these controls 50 percent stronger quality and make an install video.Note to newbies like myself: BEWARE when installing the rear brake rod, the nut head to keep the threaded bolt from spinning in hiding under the rubber boot where the spring hides. IT IS NOT THE NUT THAT YOU CAN SEE. YOUR ROD WILL FALL OFF. 2020 model at least.

Installed this kit on my 2014 XL883 Superlow. Truly horrible instructions, but not too hard to figure out once you lay everything out and compare to original controls. Lots of room for these if you have a factory moustache bar as I have on my bike, at least 3" of clearance. One review said you had to remove the front lower exhaust pipe and muffler to remove the stock mid-mount controls - NOT TRUE! I made a 1" bit cut from an Allen Wrench and turned it with a ratcheting wrench, no problem! Someone also said these are weak, but they seem strong to me, nice finish. Less than half the price of HD - I'll take 'em!

Put together with the very crappy instructions that are included and they are just very wobbly. Everything is tight down but the parts just don’t seem to fit well. Do not recommend

Not as tight of fit as I'd prefer. They rattle around at idle due to loose tolerances. They definitely help with being comfortable on a sportster at 6 ft tall. Could be a little longer, but they get the job done. One of the fittings for the shift rod should have reversed threads for adjustment without removing the linkage, but it didn't.

My Iron 883 is so much more comfortable and fun with these forward controls.All of the hardware was included.I did reuse the original mounting bolts so that I could feel good about torquing them to Harley specs.I used blue Locktite on ALL bolts except - the shifter foot stud; I assumed it was already torqued- it wasn't. It fell off while riding and I never found it. Hey Astra Depot - can send me another??Anyway, I had to reuse the original - threads don't match.Just LOCKTITE EVERYTHING!Torque the mounting bolts to Harley specs and you'll be fine.

If you are ballin on a budget, these are definitely a good buy.The Pros:- Definitely needed if taller than 5ft 6in.- Fit and finish is pretty good. Matches gloss frame really well.- Didn’t have to fix holes or bolts and everything aligned just right. All the hardware was there and was in good condition.-Functions just like the high dollar sets.Only 3 very small cons:- The main large pin that holds the foot peg to the mounting bracket could be machined a little more precise. My foot brake arm and shift arm have a little more wiggle than I would like but still functional.- The shift linkage was not cut with a left thread so to adjust the length, you have to disconnect one end of the linkage and then adjust the length.- The instructions are almost completely worthless. Just shows an image of each side but quality makes it hard to see detail. If you have basic understanding and reference stock controls, you can assemble them.
