Does it fit the Steam Deck dock plug?

I have the jsaux dock and the case makes it too wide to fit. Assuming the steam deck dock has a similar profile and shape I’d imagine you’d run into the same problem.

Can the steam deck fit in the original steam bag it comes in while in the case?

not with the front cover on, the original steam deck case is molded to fit the steam deck perfectly. That being said the front cover attaches magnetically and is easy to pull off. I like this case for the simple fact that its mostly protected while you have it in your hands so if it falls you have some protection. I would suggest using the steam deck case in the event of a long storage period. I recently took it on some long distance trips with the case and it served me well considering I was also using it during flights and in the airport terminals while waiting for the flights.
