Q: Does these electric shavers give as smooth and close shave as the gel-razor shave ?

Hi there, thanks for your question! The SatinShave Essential provides you with a soft and smooth feeling after each use. To get the best results, we'd recommend you to make sure that you move the shaver against the direction of the hair growth and that the shaving head is in full contact with the skin. The angle between the skin and the shaving head should be approximately be 70°. Q: Does this shaver completely remover the hair like a mans electronic shaver would or just trim it down to it's very short?

Completely removes it and leaves skin very smooth.

Q: Is it louder than the shower?

Depends on how loud the shower is, but no I would not think so.

Q: Is there any replacement foils?

There are no replacements with it. I haven't tried to get replacements so can't say if it's possible. Hope that helps.
