Absolutely rock solid
Item arrived missing the grey 1/4 20 screw for attaching to bottom of camera.After contacting Manfrotto customer support, they sent out the missing part.Having used it, this product is exactly what I needed for solidly mounting my camera to a grip head much more rigidly that a tripod ball head could.

Best accessory for mounting your DSLR on your Magic arm.
Heavy DSLR or Camera - this is the best accessory.I use this without a mount plate and because of the rubber inserts in this unit - I can place my DSLR in any angle without far. I have this in addition of my Magic Arm 244. I love the different positions and the quality.Metal and definitely heavy duty.

Solid strong build, holds a heavy DSLR in place.
This is my second purchase of one of these, the original one i purchased 8 years ago and its still working great and used daily on a heavy DSLR camera locked in all sorts of positions and angles.These are solidly built and are a perfect match to any Manfrotto magic arm or other camera arm systems, or indeed any photographers lighting stand or bracket.

Manfrotto are not the cheapest but the quality is always present and this is no exception. Use this with a manfrotto arm and the combination work really well in my video recording setup.

Robust and handy bracket.
Like all Manfrotto products I own, this bracket is built well. I use it for those rare, travel light situations, when I do not have my tripod. I can attach this bracket to my Canon 5D mk4 and then to my light stand.

So Useful
This item has been around for a while but I hadn't discovered it until I saw one at the photography show. I had been using a magic arm for ages without this but this one item has repurposed the magic arm for me. This enables me to set up remote video cameras for weddings and the like in out of the way places to achieve wonderful shots that could not be achieved any other way. Before this I had to attach a tripod head to the magic arm and that was often too big. This bracket does everything in one go . Small and light it is ideal.
