JAY-BE Value Folding Bed with Memory e-Fibre Mattress, Fabric, Aluminium, Easy Storage

I'm very pleased with this guest bed. It's very comfortable for a foldaway bed. When folded up it stores nicely under a double bed. The double is lovely and roomy for one person and adequate for two.

Bought this so i could sleep in a separate, and cooler room after a night shift. I read the vine reviewers reviews, and thought it must be a great product. However, how wrong can they be. In fact their reviews lead me to doubt their credibility. The major problem with the bed is that it sinks straight down the centre, meaning you can feel the centre bar supporting the frame. I weigh 10st 5lbs. which i'm guessing is below the average adult human. I'm a pretty good sleeper, especially after taking tablets to knock me out. However, i'm left with a seriously bad back after using this bed, which i've never experienced before and i've slept on some seriously grotty student beds in the past. You literally sink into it so it feels like a hammock. I thought this would be the case based on another couple of reviews so spent a fair amount on a 4inch memory foam topper. Sadly, although this makes the bed a lot more comfortable, it still causes back pain. I've resorted to just putting the memory foam on the floor for more support. In summary, be cautious if you'll be sleeping on this bed for more than a night.

Waited in all day for my DOUBLE memory foam Jay be to arrive then when i unpacked it , it was totally the wrong item it was a cheap none memory foam single one. So now have to wait till monday for my hermes to collect it. Then wait 7 days for the money to go back in my account

The base is stretched between springs like a trampoline (which i thought sounded like a great idea) no wooden slats to break...unfortunately when you lay on it you just slope towards the middle where it sags...if there are two people forget about it unless you want to be in each others faces all night. The memory foam mattress is nice but when used with the frame you can still feel the metal support that runs underneath and that is with one average male on it. For the price it is not worth it...look elsewhere.

It's comfortable and big but it sinks in the middle so no good for two people.

This is a really high quality folding bed, with just a couple of little annoyances that mean I can't give it five stars.***Positives***- Very comfortable for a folding bed - rather than springs or slats the mattress is suspended on a stretchy trampoline-like material that reduces the usual discomfort felt with the thin mattresses that come with beds like this.- Sturdy construction, and a neat storing solution (if you have space - it's still quite bulky).***Negatives***- Size: the bed is described as a 'small double' which seems to have all the inconvenience of storing a double folding bed, without actually being big enough to sleep two people in any comfort. I don't really understand the logic here, and would have preferred a single size that packed away smaller (Jay-Be does have this option).- Mattress: although described as 'memory foam' it seems mostly to be normal foam with a small amount of memory foam on top.Overall, a very comfortable bed in a slightly odd size, for a premium price.

Extremely comfortable bed which folds up easily. Great value for money.
