LG Electronics 14x SATA Blu-ray Internal Rewriter
I have had one of these for the past 8 years and it only recently failed. This replacement was built in 2024 and I have had no problem with it at all

Outstanding performance.
LG optical drives have served me well over the years and have been extreemly reliable. This drive burned a blu-ray disc straight out of the box. No drivers required. I haven't tried the M-Disc feature yet but I am now future proofed in the optical disc department and if, like my other LG drives, it lasts as long I'll be very happy.

Can be reflashed to read 4K UHD discs too :)
This is the most cost effective way I have found to enter the 4K UHD HDR Dolby Vision / Dolby Atmos world - an absolutely fabulous drive at a reasonable price.Love it.

Easy set up, works as intended, no playback or read/write issues.

Happy with purchase.Fits computer as you would expect.Bonus is it's fairly esay to make it UHD friendly with the correct firmware flash.So far so good.

Great value blue ray recorder/player.
Nice blue ray player/recorder. Have used it with M-disk 25gb and 100gb, all work perfect.

Get it while you can
Burned 4 BD-R, 2 BD-R DL & 2 BD-RE with no coasters. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Only problem I did run into was down to power which had nothing to do with the burner. 6 internal hard drives, 1 DVD burner and this Blu-Ray burner required more power than my psu was putting out, 450W. Upgraded PSU and no problems whatsoever. Don't hold back. If you want a Blu-ray burner definitely consider this

Probably a good drive in the long run….
This is probably a decent blu ray drive for most people, however I think I got a faulty one as it struggles like hell to read a blu ray, and when it does the read speed is no more than 0.1xIt also sounds like it’s struggling. Sending mine back
