Ergotron – LX Keyboard Arm, Wall Mount Adjustable Keyboard Tray – Polished Aluminum (45-246-026)

Wow, what a piece of engineering! I installed this 2 days ago and i can't stop marvelling at how well it works. It is solidly built and very versatile. The pressure in the arm can be adjusted to release slower or faster as desired and can move +/- 150mm apr. up/down. Watch when you lift the keyboard off the tray! The keyboard tray can be tilted to prevent RSI also. I was worried about the weight of the arm and the wall fixings. My walls (brick) aren't the best but the fixings supplied are massive (2x 80mm, M8) . You'll need a 13mm socket to tighten these. I used a drill fitting but there wasn't enough torque so i ended up twisting the drill round. I did slight damage to the metal mount but there are facings supplied to cover the screws. Just ensure the screws are level and everything should be good. It does seem to be quite expensive (£195 at this time) but i would not hesitate in recommending this item. I bought for home use but this is seriously professional kit.

This is a very effective and I have paired in with the Ergotron 45-289-026 Brushed Aluminium Extrension Arm. It is very stable and very stong. I was comfortable buying this as I had already bought the wall mount equivilent for my 32" Screen. The build quality and operation is exceptional and solid, and needs to be as the price you pay is very high, so is only for the those wishing for a top end home office experience. The mouse tray element can be pushed all the way through the body of the tray, so it comes out of the left for the left hand mouse users. Also comes with a little wall mounted docking pod for a mouse.

The Ergotron Wall Mounted Keyboard Arm is perfect for my application. Due to space constraints, I'm unable to use a conventional desk. The Keyboard Arm was a great solution to my problem. Fitting and Setting-up is relatively easy with most tools being provided. The articulated design makes it very easy to position my keyboard when sat at my chair, but also has the ability to be stowed against the wall when not in use. The Keyboard Arm is mainly cast and polished Aluminium and the Keyboard Tray is black composite with a very handy mouse tray that slides out of the tray from the left or right. The Keyboard Tray also flips vertically for storage against the wall if desired.

I purchased this to install in the treatment rooms of my dental office. The installation was easy(I installed into a wood stud). The product is sturdy and ergonomic. I don't lean on the product and I don't do much typing, however, when I type it is sturdy, does not bounce and there is plenty of room for my keyboard and mouse. It is worth the price and fit my needs perfectly.

Der Schwenkarm ist professionell und gut. Man muss jedoch zuerst dahinter kommen, wie eine Position in der Höhe "festgemacht" werden kann. Die Beschreibung dazu ist vorhanden, jedoch etwas versteckt am Ende abgelegt, obwohl das eine der entscheidenden Arbeiten ist. Wenn das nicht gemacht wird, geht der Arm immer wieder in eine per starker Feder bestimmte Ausgangsposition zurück.

Exactamente lo que necesitaba... Una maravilla de tecnologia sencilla... Y todos los modelos estan compatibles, este es mi secundo... un poco caro pero vale la pena...
