Intex Solar Pool Cover for 10ft Frame or Easy Set Pools #29021, #28011

I was amazed at the difference this made. Now I'm in England and we've just has the best summer, actually we're still having it really, but its not as good as it has been but when it was el scorchio! we had the big pool out and found that its cover had died over the course of the three years it'd been in the loft of the shed, I think the mice liked it too much so a new one was needed. I thought, and if I'm honest part of me still thinks that this is simply a sheet of blue plastic with bubble-wrap stuck to it. In fact thinking about it now as I write this review I think I can confidently say this is a piece of blue plastic with bubble-wrap stuck to it, but it works really well and makes a huge difference to the temperature of the pool, so much so that when you got in you could feel the warmer water at the top of the pool and the cooler water at the bottom. I liked it... in fact I liked it a lot and used to try and get it with out mixing the water around to much; I'm seeing someone about that now and feel much better now, just in case you were worried. So, if you're looking for something to keep the leaves out, that actually warms the pool like it says it does and might or might not be simply a sheet of blue plastic with bubble-wrap on one side then you've found what you're looking for. (where else would you go to buy blue bubble-wrap anywho?) Buy it, its good

Bought this for our 12ft Bestway Steel Frame Pool. Living in Scotland I didn't hold out much hope for it heating the pool, but it does a really good job. On sunny days the water under the cover is nice and warm to a depth of 6" or so. An hour or so before the kids get in the pool I "agitate" the water under the cover to mix the warmer upper layers with the cooler lower water. This raises the temperature of all the water slightly, but with the cover still on, the upper 6" heats up again quite quickly, agitate, repeat, agitate etc. The overall effect is a much warmer pool than last year when the kids constantly complained that the pool was too cold to swim in. First world problems eh!? Anyway, I am really pleased with the efficiency of the cover and would recommend. As others have said, it is just blue bubble wrap when all is said and done, but I am glad I bought it and so are my children.

its just a big sheet of bubble wrap. works well and i'm finding a lot less bugs in the pool as they can land and fly away. could be more durable, hard not to pop a few each time i take it off. i hang it on the washing line and bird lime rinses off easily with a hose. seems to reduce chlorine evaporation.

We've only had our pool up for 2 weeks in a spell of lovely weather and unfortunately since then the glorious British summer has been mainly wet, windy and cold! However this cover is the best one i've ever had, it's easy to put on and take off and during the very brief spells of sunshine definitely warmed the water a little. I hope when the weather improves the difference in water temperature will be even better. It also stayed firmly in place through wind and rain so i think it's had a pretty good first outing so far. My pool is 12ft and the original cover we had that went over the pool never fitted properly, came off in the wind and thus kept nothing out of the water. This is a vast improvement and i would highly recommend. I've read reviews that have said it's flimsy and tore, my experience is that it probably is flimsier then other covers, it is just glorified bubble wrap, but even if it only lasts one summer for the price i wont complain.

Fits a 10ft pool, easy to put on and off. It is basically a big blue bubble wrap sheet. I did find that some of the bubbles were deflated after one season use and had to buy another the next as it was not insulating the heat in as it should have. It does keep stuff out of the pool, but also a few holes to let water through so it does not puddle. Make sure filter and pool chemicals are correct if and when it rains

Abit disappointed it isn't as per the picture in the advert, in the picture the bubbles look harder Looks a lot more sturdier, but just like others have mentioned it is basically just bubble wrap, apart from it being blue I do 100% believe a similar colour bubble wrap could be just as effective and maybe cheaper. Seems alot for just blue bubble wrap with a intex stuck on logo. But I have put it on pool today, it is sunny at the moment but I have converted a Lay Z Spa pump to heat my pool, and have had my 12ft upto 31c with only the standard covers so will see now if this cover comes close to that considering that's what it is made for, I will edit this in a couple of days and update on heat levels. EDIT: 25th June 2020 Well yesterday I put it on my pool late in afternoon as didn't arrive until later on but it was still sunny, yesterday it actually heated the pool to 30c without my Lay Z Spa heater going. Over night it dropped down to 27c which is fine, we had another hot day today and I went out, came back a few hours later and the pool was heated upto 32c YES 32c so this fancy bubble wrap does work to some degree. My next test for it will be on a cooler day to put my Lay Z Spa on heat and see if the actual cover keeps the pool warm or is it literally only heated with the sun.

For starters yes this is a large piece of bubble wrap! It’s £9.49 so anyone expecting it to turn their pools into hot tubs should give their heads a wobble! Fits well on our 12ft metal framed pool, just sits inside so no fiddling with ties etc and isn’t going to blow off in a storm. Does it make the pool hot? No. Does it take the edge of the ice cold water. Yes. Even my snowflake kids get in now without tears :) :) well worth the money (for what it is) highly recommend.

I don’t often leave negative reviews, but in this case, this cover is an absolute waste of money. I read other reviews and I would have been happy with glorified bubble wrap if it fitted my pool but it doesn’t. The 12ft cover is not actually 12ft and therefore doesn’t cover the whole pool so bugs, leaves etc can still get in it. It doesn’t heat the pool in any way but I wasn’t expecting it to. I was just hoping for a cover to keep the water clean. I contacted the seller and their response was as good as the rubbish cover! Don’t waste your money. We’re looking at getting decent tarpaulin and making our own cover.

Rispetta pienamente la descrizione e aiuta concretamente a gestire la temperatura dell'acqua in modo naturale. La qualità Intex è una garanzia e il funzionamento è semplicissimo.

Es muy practico. El mio es para una piscina de 3 metros de diametro y calienta de mas para mi gusto. Lo suyo es ponerlo por la noche y quitarlo a primera hora de la mañana. Asi tambien se evita que el agua se ensucie tanto y se evapore. Lo malo, que el sol lo castiga mucho. Este es el segundo que tengo. Uno por año. Se acaba rompiendo. Pero bueno, tampoco es que sea caro y hace su funcion

👍👍👍Esta cubierta es un básico para la piscina de los crios! (Añado fotos y video de la cubierta) ➡️Hemos repetido 4 veces con esta cubierta, es muy fácil de poner (y ella misma al extenderla se va colocando bien) y para quitar también es rápido ya que no pesa mucho. Pero lo más importante es que la cubierta esta hecha como de papel de burbujas y hace un efecto en el agua con el sol que la calienta! Impresionante! Es como una manta térmica😊👏👌 A parte también hace la función de protección pero lo más importante es lo fácil que es ponerla y quitarla(lo puede hacer una persona sin ayuda) y como calienta el agua. 📌Antes teniamos de las que ivan por encima y tenian un cordón pero era un problema ponerlas(necesitabas siempre ayuda😩), tardabas mucho y al final se rompian. Así que estas han sido un gran descubrimiento! ✋A tener en cuenta 📌Cada año tenemos que cambiarla porque se estropea En resumen, cubierta muy recomendable por el efecto de calentar el agua y por lo práctica a la hora de poner y quitar.
