Wish I could have this all the time.
Why did you choose this product over others?: Hideous pricing but soooo soooo nice and smooth and flavoursome ... of course if you want to really get a sense of perspective I saw this in a shot in London and it was DOUBLE ... but it is really nice.

Very Nice Coffee Beans.
Love it but when hopper ran out I re filled it with £5.75 Lavazza beans which I use aswell. No one could tell the difference and kept on praising their amazing tasting and expensive bean to cup. I'd buy again though.

Expensive but worth it
First, it's worth acknowledging that this is expensive coffee. There's no getting around it and that high price is due to both quality and rarity. To qualify as genuine JBM the bean must originate in the Jamaican Blue mountains between the altitudes of two and five thousand feet. Its a thin strip of land that has a limited output which makes JBM one of the world's rarest coffees. That is reflected in the pricing. That aside this is a genuinely unique and lovely drink with a really well-balanced flavour and medium acidity. You can find cocoa notes in a mildly sweet, medium strength cup. It's an essential part of my morning routine. Coffer Roasters treatment of the bean is great. I have never received a bag ruined by overroasting, something I can't say for other suppliers. I prepare my coffee using either an aeropress or pour over methods and this bean suits both methods. Four stars, one knocked off for the understandably high price.

Usually great, not this time unfortunately
I have ordered this many many times before from yourselves and very much enjoy it. Very expensive but worth it in my opinion. One bag of the two I most recently ordered has to be from a bad batch. It’s tastes sour! Strangely I taste tested it against the other bag in the order and it’s two different drinks. Please contact me regarding this order.

Other than Hacienda La Esmeralda Geisha this is the best coffee I've ever tasted
I've been ordering this coffee for about 9 months now and other than a small batch of Hacienda La Esmeralda Geisha which I got as a present, and which is a bit pricey to order regularly, this is the best coffee I've ever tasted. I'm not a coffee expert, more an enthusiastic addict .. but everyone I've served this coffee too has commented on it, and I can't find anything else I prefer. It's very mellow and smooth, with a really nice subtle nutty / fruity taste, and it packs a decent punch when served on the extra strong setting from my machine, with slightly less milk than you might serve with other coffees. It's a coffee where you probably do want to experiment with the strength and milk ratio to get it right for you, but I can highly recommended - it's delicious!

It's how much!?! It's that good?!?
Answer = A lot & yes. I bought this basically to see what all the fuss was about and to see if a £44 bag for coffee could be at all worth it for a new to quality coffee drinker at home. I thought if its that good given the price, it'll be an occasional drink like my 25yo Talisker whisky. Huh, I'm totally hooked and I'm afraid this might be my default coffee. There will be other coffees of course that offer a bigger kick for the morning etc. But wow I absolutely love this coffee. Easily the best smelling coffee I've experienced, exquisitely smooth, it's like coffee nectar and an incredibly long cocoa finish. Not tried it as an espresso yet, only cappuccino and straight coffee w/hot milk. Is this the "best coffee ever"? Well can you have "best ever" coffee given it's so much down to personal taste. But it is going to a be a regular for me; it's not the most complex coffee for sure and not cheap, but it's still monstrously cheaper than Starcrooks charges for their swill, but it is IMO absolutely delicious. probably buy the 2.2kg bag next time.
