Had some ants appear in our kitchen that seemed to be coming from a hole under the doorframe. At their peak, there were around 30 of them hanging out in a corner of our kitchen. I tried using vinegar and peppermint oil but nether stopped the ants. So I bought this and set it up by the door. At first the ants ignored it but after a while they were starting to take the bait. Amazingly, within 24 hours the ants had gone! I left the bait there for a couple more days and then removed it completely. It’s now over a week later and there are still no ants. This worked perfectly and am very pleased with the outcome.Update (a year later) - Got another infestation in our lounge. Had around 50 ants wandering over the carpet, which was a bit grim. Opened another bait station and left it near the point of the ants entering the house and, as before, they ignored it to start with but interest grew over a few hours. The next day, they’d all gone and haven’t come back. This bait is brilliant!

Great worked within a day

Getting rid of ants is tough. They are very resilient little buggers.When i grew up in France we had loads of the small ants, and whatever we did, we could not get rid of them. All the neighbourhood had them, so I assume that the neighbourhood was built on a giant underground anthill. then one day (about 16 years later), they just all disappeared never to come back (we never knew why, as all the stuff we tried over the year never did a thing).Now fast forward to today, I am based in Reading. Just bought a house, and I was quite surprised (and annoyed) to find some of the same type of ants in my kitchen! brought back memories for sure! My neighbour doesn't seem to have them, so that is quite encouraging; it is probably not a anthill megalopolis like back in the day.So I decided to try some of these traps. put them down, and 2 or 3 days later: no more ants.About a month to 6 weeks later, the ants were back, put the trap down again, and 2 days later: no more ants. Now the question is: for how long...So that long review about my relationship with ants has the following conclusion on the product:it seems to work, but temporarily. But they have some effect it seems, so that is a positive in my books.

best ant bait traps you can buy and great value to. these dont just kill the ants the ants take the bait to the nest and it wipes em all out. no more mini crawling pests crawling all over you. or your pets. just place them down in known areas where ants are seen and leave for a year then replace them every year i do.

Doesn't seem to work that effectively. Compared to other brands product, this product seems to be slightly hit and miss.

Lived in my home for 5yrs with no issue with ants, but recently have experienced lots of ants inside getting onto worktops etc.I placed two of these Nippon Baits on the worktops and by late evening 25 to 30 ants were observed in the vicinity of the Nippon Baits. I managed to resist the temptation to kill them, which I had been doing when spotting the odd one or two on the worktops as the ants need to take the fluid back to their nest.Next morning there was no sign of any ants at all, I decided to leave the baits where they were for a couple more days in case there was still a few remaining.3rd day now, I've not seen a single ant since, so I'm pleased to say this Nippon Ant Bait really works 100%, they just disapeared overnight and thankfully no sign of them since. I'VE NO HESITATION RECOMMENDING THIS NIPPON ANT BAIT. IT WORKS BRILLIANTLY.

Put 2 baits down in the kitchen, near the 2 cabinets that had the most ant traffic.Checked later that evening and they were all over it like a tramp on chips.2 days later, couldn't see a solitary living ant.Almost a week on and it doesn't look like there are any survivors. I'm declaring this a victory!

Very easy to use, just follow the instructions - be careful with the tabs otherwise you’ll press too hard and spill some. Aside from that it’s excellent - worked right away, noticed the change within a day
