Gingerbread spice
I brought this product arrived few days ago for a recipe that I'm going to make over Christmas but wanted to test it today. When I opened the packet the aroma that came out was amazing smelt exactly like a gingerbread biscuit.I only used a tea spoon as I wasn't sure how it would bake but it had a nice hit of the taste and you could still smell it after it was baked as well. Would definitely recommend if you like gingerbread flavoured items.

Gingerbread coffee
Added a little bit to my French press with the coffee, a little bit to a mug of hot chocolate, and perfect flavour without needing to pay a lot of money for a festive drink.

Thought it would have more flavour

As expensive as saffron. And Not tamperproof
Contains 30g, which is slightly less than the Bart's spices already in the cupboard, though at twice the price. But, unlike Bart's, this mix also contains rice flour, which bumps up the weight. The £3.95 sachet does two servings, according to their recipe.There is no seal to break when opening the package for the first time. I cannot know this has not been opened already. That's fine when buying an artisanal product from someone face to face, but when relying on an unknown number intermediaries, as here, it's not reassuring. The packaging should be heal-sealed at the top, so it has to be torn the first time but can be pushed closed air-tight subsequently (like Seasoned Pioneers packaging)
