I bought the naviskauto 12.5 dvd player so i can watch my own dvds while hubby has tv on. What a beauty it is. The screen size makes it much easier to see my films. It is solid and easy to operare. It also got good battery life much better than any other i have owned. I also like the fact that there is 3 metres of cable on the charger which is much longer than my previous one. I have only been using it since Sunday but so far its excellent. The volume is good without headphones as some players are not very loud . I am listening through some Philips over the head headphones and the sound is great. Also it remembers where you last stopped the player. I am looking forward to trying the other functions in the future. I can recommend this player. The seller has good customer service and i had to contact over a minor issue and they got back to me promptly. I half expect my hubby to want one also as being over 60 like me its much easier to see the screen, oh and its multi region which is great.

This is indeed a very nice dvd player; the picture is very sharp, but the screen is not so good as other LED back lite screens, here I feel the unit is a bit outdated? Like others have commented, you need to have the screen directly facing you; When I see other peoples comments, I decided to order this player, but did not realize just how critical this was.The actual player is very quiet compared to many others; the menu selection is very good as well; if for example you select 16.9; the player will store that memory, and it will not change until you change it.I felt very pleased with this player, until the screen started freezing during fast forward, but this was satisfactory once unit warmed up after approx.' half hour: the same dvd section fast forward perfectly; which makes me feel, there is a dry joint here causing an intermittent fault.I was concerned that this problem could get worse, so sadley; I had to return the player.

Absolute waste of money. After 5 uses, would not charge or run on mains power or car adaptor. Power adaptors are tested and fine, it's an issue with the player itself. Now an expensive piece of junk. Buy at your own risk.

Good picture but sound is very treble . I attached it to a Bluetooth speaker through the audio in . Sounded great .

Fabulous player, Excellent features and picture quality. Very acceptable sound for a non hifi player although the drive is a little noisy. Build quality excellent. V. G. value. If you want a decent player don't hesitate

I bought this for my wife's birthday and, on the basis of one day only of testing, she is very pleased with it. It plays CD's, DVD's, TV recordings put on DVD, jpeg photos recorded to a DVD disc, etc,. My wife particularly wants to see an extended list on screen of the song tracks on a CD so that she can choose what to play and this player does this very well. We tested the 'pick--up where you left-off' facility and this works even if you switch off the player and then restart with the same DVD (of course). The set-up facility allows either a 4:3, or 16:9 aspect ratio to be set on the screen display. Lots of other things have not yet been tried out. As for many other products of this kind apparently, the sound output quality is poor: even a cheap pair of little speakers connected via the 3,5mm jack greatly improved matters, so I recommend that buyers do this.

I bought the 12.5inch version of the Naviskauto Dvd player and thus far I'm very impressed with it. The larger screen makes a big difference compared to my old 9 inch players. The player is also slimmer than the older Sony models that I've owned. The picture quality is great, with a very impressive screen resolution. Older films look bright and clear. Sound is more than adequate (although don't expect a lot of bass via the inbuilt speakers), however it sounds very clear with headphones (with importantly enough volume to hear clearly on a noisy train carriage). You get two remotes, one with more features but the larger buttoned one has enough functionality for day to day use. Overall it is a very easy player to use. Comes also with a car charger and three pin UK power supply and a handy carry case to protect it. The clinchers for me is that the Naviskauto dvd player is genuinely multi region. I've played numerous region 1,2 and 4 discs on it without any problems whatsoever. Also the long battery life, easily plays a couple of films without needing to be recharged. Recommended.

Would - but after trying for 21/2 hrs still cant get into it. Any ideas ?????Forget that - for some reason trying to open wrong end - senior moment !!!!
