Stick with it and be generous in dosage.
This is good stuff and in my 2000 gallon koi pond it worked well. The pond was a sickly green and it is now much better. However you have to stick with it and be generous with the amount used . It says weekly , but I introduced a dose every 4 days.I was also very generous with the dosage. I probably overdosed, but it has not resulted in any problem with my fish and the pond does look clearer. I will probably use it regularly over the summer to keep the green water down

It worked in the end
I have to say I didn't think this would work but it did eventually!I have quite a large pond which was thick green and i'd given up trying different things to fix it. I find calculating the amount of pond water and then the amount of treatment required quite difficult. I cleaned the pump and filters and added about a third of the bottle to a watering can and added to the pond. I then cleaned the pond filters every couple of days. I did this three times in total from one bottle of treatment and the water is now considerably clearer. My biggest bugbear with these bottles is the dosage contraption. I don't find it helpful at all in calculating how much you need. It also make it really difficult to get the stuff out of the bottle. I end up cutting the top off the bottle. Maybe that is easier for smaller ponds but I need to use quite a lot of treatment.Overall it worked for me but ponds still seem to be a bit hit and miss. I inherited mine with the house so i'm still figuring it out!

Not all it's cracked up to be.
Our pond water has been exceptionally bad this year. We bought this pond clear product in a hope it would clear the algae but having treated the pond water as per the product instructions and there is zero change in water clarity. It's rather frustrating to see little if any improvement after six weeks of treatment.

Appears to have caused a lot of problems
I have waited over a year to review this product as I have waited for all permutations on my pond to play out.I have had a 5000 gallon ponds for several years and various pond before that. I have never had a problem with clarity or chemistry. PH always about 7.2. The pond is stocked with Koi and goldfish. I have a three bay filter with brushes, Alfagrog and foam. In addition I have a veg filter and 55 Watt Uv filter.Last year, my pond was not as clear as usual. A slight cloudiness and a definite 'tea' colour developing. Dissolved organic compounds I thought. The Envii product looked ideal.I added the bottle of Envii Pond Klear Xtra as directed and waited. I was amazed that all the 'dirt' in the filters disappeared within a day or so. However, the pond was no better and got more cloudy. The pond became murkier and I was starting to get problems with PH, ammonia and nitrite. PH was always 8.3 or higher, ammonia and nitrite was appearing in testing. I contacted the company who suggested a PH buffer product. My GH and KH levels were fine, so adding another expensive product did not seem a good idea. Before the Envii product was added, I would clean my brush bay every few weeks; always full of dead algae. Not any more. Nothing in it. UV filter all good. A jar test suggest no algae problem, but PH and chemistry are not good. It's as if my old filter bacteria has been turned off and replaced with something different.Since then I have added various potions, done loads of water changes, but nothing has improved. I can get passable nitrite and ammonia results by drastically cutting food and I can get some clarity by constantly adding fine fleece filter material to the last bay.I cannot prove in any way that the Evii product has caused problems, simply report my findings. However, I wish I had never used the product.

Bingo!!!!
I inherited a pond when I moved house that hadn't been maintained in 15 years! Boy, what a mess! 2 feet of sludge and and 20,000 litres of thick water. I was loathed to put my koi into this muck but had no choice. So the battle began in April of this year when I bought the first lot of Pond Klear Extra which failed miserably. I had some excellent help from Andy Hiron at Bio8 who responded to my emails almost instantly each time. Thank you, Andy. I had introduced some plants to the pond which in turn introduced an abundance of parasites and lost 50% of my stock, including my prized koi. Note to self....thoroughly wash all oxygenating plant "before" adding to the pond! Pond treated, happy healthy fish, water tested and stable, now onto water clarity.Last weekDay 1 - Cleaned filters and removed UV bulbs. Carried out a 30% water change. Added Envii Sludge KlearDay 2 - added Envii Pond KlearDay 4 - water born algae build up but the water itself appeared clearer?. Cleaned filters and replaced UV BulbDay 5 - the water is definitely clearer!Day 6 - are my eyes deceiving me! Are they fish I can see????Day 7 - WOW! I can see at least 3 feet down and all of my fish, including some Rudd which I didn't even know I had!If the ponds stays at the current level of clarity I will be extremely happy. But I have a feeling that I will be able to see the bottom which is 5 feet in some places over the next few days. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Hopefully you can see the difference in the attached photos. One before Pond Klear and two taken today, day 7. I've tried so many products in the past but won't be now. This is my recipe for success!!Update July 21. Pond crystal clear! Envii sludge klear is also amazing. I can see patches if white gravel that I didn't know was there!
