Intex Pool Maintenance Kit

Great little pool vacuum,was apprehensive as to how much it would pick up but it worked well in my 2.6 x1.6 intex pool.Key is to go slow with it so as not to disturb the dirt on the bottom of pool. Can’t comment on how long the net will last due to only using this once so far the day it arrived. East to assemble and attach to garden hose.

Good quality.and although they don't look very strong trust me they are .had the grandkids walking over them instead of picking them up and they took everything they had to throw at them . highly recommend

This works very effectively at removing debris/plant material at the bottom of the pool. It is pretty easy to assemble, and works by attaching a garden hose which creates a flows of water and material from the pool bottom through an attached net. The net traps the debris. It takes about 10 minutes to remove nearly all the debris from the pool bottom, leaving it looking like the pool had been newly filled. So this is surprisingly effective. There is also a large surface net included to collect floating material. My only quibble is that the net included for the bottom suction looks a little flimsy and will likely wear over time. It would be good to have had a spare included - wouldn't have cost the manufacturers much. However, some have suggested an old sock can be used to improvise (and it actually catches finer particles)....haven't tested that theory yet though.

Great piece of kit

I paid £15 on the basic set. It included a skimming net, the pool vacuum and the telescopic handle. I used this to clean my 3m x2m pool. The telescopic handle worked well. The vacuum was easy to fit together. I have no idea how attaching the hosepipe works. But it does, the little net that is essentially drawstring style fastening, is tied to the vacuum and collects what had sank to the bottom.. It was really effective on clearing the pool in combination with a swimming net. For hygiene we also have a floating device for chlorine tablets. We've bit utilised the full 75cm capacity of our pool yet. So this has been great, as the water isn't deep enough to use the filter pump I've also purchased.

The net is great and the cleaner is useful for bugs and leaves, but don't expect sand or fine dirt to be picked up as the sprayer will simply blast this though the mesh net. Purchased the larger kit with a hoover attachment that connects to the pump inlet and picks up the fine dirt well. Otherwise a good design and the handle is telescopic so can easily reach across our ~2m diameter pool easily.

I bought a filter for my litttle Intex 2m x 3m pool hoping that this would remove the bits at the bottom of my pool..mainly sand/dirt particles and general crud...the filter only airiated the water and made big pile deposits of brown dirt in the corners where the current made the sediments all settle in one place. Not wanting to spend a lot of money I ordered this product hoping that it would work. It looks so basic but me and my husband were dead impressed.. It worked fantastic and did exactly what I wanted it to. It brushed the bottom of the pool and sucked up all the sediment and held it all safe and secure in the fine mesh bag. I did think that the sandy stuff would just go through the bag but it didn't. Then you just let the bag and contents dry and empty it into the bin. So so so impressed with my new favourite gadget and my sparkly clean pool. My water is almost 2 months old now.
