The best utensil for the kitchen

A bit on the expensive side but otherwise it's a great item. Very convenient to use. Handle isn't too long so the grip is very steady and the fins are thin and long so they easily flip most foods with no issue. The handle is made out of plastic so don't be an idiot like me and leave it resting on the edge of the pan while it's on the burner (it will begin to melt and Gordon will scream at you). Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and that Gordon isn't angry anymore.

Estuve pensando mucho esta compra. Principalmente por el precio. Además tengo unas 4 espátulas más, aunque ninguna metálica. La recomendaron en America’s test kitchen como la mejor espátula metálica. Lo que me convenció fue pensar que si realmente hace una diferencia, valdría la pena ya que es algo que usaría diario dos veces al menos. Y que si es algo que me va a dar un buen servicio por muchos años lo debo considerar al nivel de comprar un buen cuchillo. Llevo unos dos meses usándola diario y es mucho más de lo que esperaba. Ligera, fuerte, suficientemente flexible pero con la correcta cantidad de rigidez para separar los alimentos del sartén y su diseño es perfecto para voltear esas comidas complicadas. Solo tener mucho cuidado al usarlas en superficies de refilón pues las va a rayar si aplicas fuerza. Yo uso principalmente sartenes de acero inoxidable, acero al carbón y sartenes de fundición (cast iron-Lodge). Para estos es perfecta. Totalmente recomendable. Usarla es un placer.

This review is for WÜSTHOF Gourmet 6.5" Offset Slotted Spatula Silver/Black. I have two of these now, and I have been using them for years. This is the best spatula that I have ever used. It is very sturdy and thin. It is very easy to get under any item that you are cooking, even foods that are stuck to the pan. Food also slides off without a problem too. The of the spatula is tapered, so I have even been able to cut items in the pan while cooking too. Admittedly, this is an expensive spatula, but if taken care of it, it should last a lifetime, so I was willing to invest in it. There are some alternative brands out there that do almost as good for a significantly lower price though. Originally, I had just one of these, but there were a number of times where I needed two, so I purchased a second one. Side Note: Since this is a metal spatula, you should never use it on non-stick cookware. You need plastic spatulas for those.

I got another flipper before this. It was too delicate for even flipping fish or steaks. This one is really strong. I use it on a stainless steel pan. You can use this confidently
