Great Sticks.
These sticks are great for practicing with, but using at gigs?? Only if you have too. Ive purchased these sticks a few times before and it is a somewhat gamble when buying them. As they are quite cheap the quality can vary. The first time i bought these they had a few blemishes but other then that, they were great. Second time buying they were perfect. But then i bought 2 pairs recently, one pair was perfect, but the other pair had dark patches and a natural hole in each stick, few mm in depth. Im not complaining, but i just want people to know this may happen. I filled the holes with some filler stuff and they are fine. The dark areas are only cosmetic, so im happy. Plus, the stronger you grip your drum sticks the more they will break. I have quite a loose grip and my band plays Alternative Rock/pop and these sticks will last over a month surprisingly. The reason i say this is because i read before people complaining these sticks break easy, but for me they dont. Must be the drummer, not the stick in my opinion. Thanks.

Perfectly Fine Sticks For A Very Reasonable Price
Half the price of normal 5a's. What's not to like? I should be using these all the time but I'm old and fussy. There's nothing wrong with these. To be honest, if they put the same tip on as their full quality 5a's I'd be using them. But they don't so I don't. But if you're happy with the tip or not able to afford to be fussy, these are perfectly alright.

Dont understand why you cant order 1 pair there was a minimum order quantity so I got 2 pairs
I like the product, good weight and ism enjoying using them, but the bit I dont understand I ordered the item I would assume when you order drum sticks they would be a pair but when I ordered them a box said there was a minimum order quantity of 2. So I though that's a bit strange why would you buy just one drum stick I thought when you ordered 1 item you were buying 1 pair so I tried to delete 1 of them but wouldnt let me so had to order 2 so when it turned up there was 2 pairs but didnt want or need 2 pairs just wanted 1 pair thats the only issue I had I suppose if I ever break my drumsticks playing an electric drum kit I've got a spare pair.

Great for light practice or beginners.
For the price these are great sticks for light practice, practicing rudiments or beginners etc but probably not strong enough for gigs. I’ve orders 2 more pairs to keep in the car and by practice pad.

Sticks look good but they are unbalanced
Each of these sticks produces a different sound when striking a rubber practice pad; you can't easily measure the frequency of a "thwack", but the noise made by each stick sounds about a semi-tone apart. I thought it must be my bad technique, with different left and right hand strokes, but swapping sticks between hands also swaps the sound. So I weighed these and there is a hefty 3.24g difference between the two sticks. Interestingly, the lighter stick gives a deeper sound, so maybe it's made from a different quality of wood altogether. Using these could be quite misleading and discouraging for a beginner. Pay a few quid more and get some decent American Classic sticks!
