Black Handy Hoop Ring Sack Bin Refuse Garbage Bag Holder Plastic with Handle New

I bought a litter picker on Black Friday and found it was quite tricky to get the litter in the bag that I was carrying so I popped onto Amazon and found this tool for keeping the bag open while you carry it. It's great! I've picked up 3 or 4 bags of litter with it and with the litter picker, it saves on bending up and down all the time. GOOD: It was easy to get the bags on the ring. There are semi-circular clips on the hoop that you pull up from the inside side of the hoop, put the bag in, then then press them back down to secure the bag. And you're off! The foam handle helps with grip, especially if you are wearing gloves. It's going to make litter picking much easier and save me time too! BAD?: The clips look like plastic and although they have a hinge I wonder how robust they are. They look like they may break if you open them too far, if not immediately, then in the future after repeated use. I will probably be using it on a 2 or 3 monthly basis to pick up a few bags of litter, so it's not going to get heavy use, so time will tell about the clips. Although the foam handle is great, I also wonder if it will start to disintegrate. I will try and put up another report in the future.

First - the item is not quite as pictured - rather than green clips around the hoop it has an elastic cord around the perimeter to hold the bin bag securely. The elastic cord holds the bag against a grippy ring on the outside of the hoop and holds the plastic bag tightly. It can be a bit challenging to attach the bin bag, but once it's on the grip is secure with no slippage, even when the bag becomes quite heavy. The hoop makes litter picking so very easy because it keeps the mouth of the bag open and cans, etc can be put in with no bother whatsoever. The item seems well made, the handle is very comfortable and it hasn't let me down.

Six months I’ve been using one and I admire the simplicity and usefulness every time I walk past it. I use it for transparent recycling bags, hang it on the inside back door handle and just pitch stuff in each time I pass. Somehow, no doubt after very careful calculations and testing, the neck of the ring always holds the bag open at the top so I can get a hole in one and even as the bag fills, the sponge grip on the ring keeps the bag firmly held to the door handle, without fail.

I bought mine in 2018 and its still going strong. Foam covering still intact-no degradation. Holds bags securely. Easy to use and doesn't take up much storage space. I'm disabled, and find cleaning up so much easier using this and a litter picker (specially when people drop their empty cans/bottles/fag packets in my house frontage on their way home from the pub etc.) Now, I don't think I could manage without it. I hardly ever give 5 stars but this product deserves it... I'm revisiting where I bought mine as I'm purchasing another - for my daughter ❤️

I’ve used this for over a year now, for work and it’s still going strong. It makes life so much easier when you’re litter picking. My only issues with it are: 1.) The ring could be a little bigger, as black binbags are a little wider than it. 2.) Because the clips are fairly weak, when you have any real weight in the binbag, it will start to slip off. It does the trick though for what it is.

I was a bit dubious about getting another hoop ring although this time from a different supplier to enable me to go litter picking at the weekends as the last one arrived broken and was not worth the money. This one however is sturdy has a lovely soft handle and the bags are easy to fit under the clips. Its definitely worth the money and just as good if not more than the expensive ones. Happy Bunny !

Good and handy

It’s light and the grips hold well to the plastic bag. Just the right size opening to put items, garden leaves etc. I bought this one bc I gave my other one to the street bin man. The council refused to get him one. He said it’s much easier as the plastic bags keep folding up every time he tries to pick litter up. His trolley is sometimes too big to cart into smaller spaces. So the ring is good for him too. 🙌
