Sturdy and good fun. Very pleased with this, highly recommended
We got tired of having to replace the children’s garden pool every few years because of both punctures and unattractive discolouration of the plastic. Garden pools are particularly expensive during the summer months while they don’t last very long - at least not when exposed to our over-active children. Yet with our south-facing inner city patio it can get really hot in summer, so the children do need some water play facility. These Intex pools seemed of much stronger, durable design. Also, in case they prove to be as sturdy as expected the Intex pools offer add-on options and accessories like a cover and perhaps a filter at a later stage. Moreover the reviews were good. I was tempted to order the larger and higher 8-feet pool, but as we have limited outside space it seemed wiser to stick to the smaller 6-feet variant. The pool came neatly presented in a a 60 x 40 x 12 cm box, this is important as it implies there pool doesn’t require too much storage space (also given that only the top ring is inflatable, this pool is easy to deflate and subsequently easy to fold in a compact manner). Included are 3 filter-hole plugs (1 spare) that you’ll have to put in place if you lack this accessory. There is also a filter connection part that remains unused in my case for now. You’ll have to make sure you place the pool on a level area and on a floor cover. We already had a collection of inter lockable rubber play/gym mats on which we placed the pool to have a soft seating and to protect the bottom. Then you’ll have to inflate the top ring, for this a non-electrical pump is advised. In order to spare me the effort of finding our pump, I just inflated it by mouth, which took less than 2 minutes and a few deep breaths. During the early stages of filling with water you’ll then have to make sure to straighten out the bottom mat of the pool. All in all, the set up is less burdensome than a full inflatable children’s pool. However, filling the pool with water took about 40 minutes and a lot of water - be aware that these Intex pools require a substantial quantity of water as they are 2x to 3x as deep as the average inflatable garden pool for young children. So there is a cost to that, and in times of severe drought you may be reprimanded by you neighbours for putting such pool in place. Nevertheless the outcome was very satisfying. It’s is really nice and even a luxury (also for grown ups) to have a reasonably deep pool outside during hot weather. It’s very refreshing for dad to cool down and enjoy a beer in the sun. And the children have a lot of fun with it every day when the weather allows. Most importantly the material of this Intex pool is of high quality, it is made of thick layers plastic that can endure some wild children’s water play. Even the inflatable top ring seems much more durable than a traditional children’s pool. The only drawback is that is lacks standing sides and a supportive top ring. So you can’t really relax and hang on the sides as you will push it down and the water will flow out. Similarly, when our youngest, 6-year old enters the pool he will lean on the top ring for support, but this will cause water to flow out. We have already bought a cover that will keep the water clean and that helps to heat it up a little, I keep this in lace with ratchet straps. I’ve also ordered a somewhat treacherous but affordable pool heater, we’ll see how that works out. The next step would be an investment in an Intex filter. In the mean time I’m looking into adding a well-measured amount of chemicals to the water to keep it clean for more than two days - we live in a hard-ware area and after a couple of days of intensive play the water gets milky and unclear. But overall, very, very pleased with this pool. Highly recommended.

Perfect Summer Fun (Be Ready for Lots of Water)
We bought this pool for the kids and they absolutely love it! It was very easy to set up—took hardly any time at all, which was a big plus. The size is great for little ones to splash around and stay entertained for hours. The only downsides are that it requires quite a lot of water to fill, and unfortunately, it didn’t come with a cover. A cover would have been really useful to keep the water clean between uses. Overall, it’s a fun and sturdy pool that keeps the kids happy during hot days, but be prepared for the water usage and consider buying a separate cover.

Great Product & Excellent Value For Money
I’m an adult & purchased this 3 years ago to cool down in the summer . I chose this pool because its very deep at 76cm but not too big so doesn’t dominate the garden. The inflatable design is very clever & works well. It has no frame so comes in a small box , it must be easy to import / ship & so represents excellent value for money . Some reviewers grumble about the inflatable style but it works well & just needs to be set up properly & on level ground. The key is to smooth any ripples out of the bottom as you fill with water & fill to a high level which helps it hold its shape . I lay old mats / rugs underneath to help protect base from punctures. In my opinion the material is thick & the design is very robust . At the end of summer I clean & dry well before storing for winter . I've had mine 3 years now and its still going strong . I imagine if you had kids jumping in & playing with toys etc it wouldn’t last so long but I bet they’d have a great time ! The cover is a good purchase to keep leaves, bugs & debris out. And I did eventually buy filter pump to help keep water clean. When set up it holds a lot of water & is a superb way to cool down - very refreshing . Its very big / deep and I can hardly believe it only costs £30 or £40 - it feels like it should be worth a lot more - Very pleased : )

Great but not for us
This pool is huge. Only the top bit inflates, the rest you have to fill with water. It is sturdy, material is definitely hard wearing. The kids love it. We wouldn't buy again. Actually we have had it a couple of weeks and I want a new one that is smaller. We have never managed to fill the whole thing up, it takes sooooo long to fill it to enough water that the kids can get in. I think it is supposed to be a permanent pool, with a filter etc, not what we bought it for. It rotted the grass underneath which absolutely stinks, takes ages to empty out and clean, and because you need so much water it is absolutely freezing cold, even on a boiling hot day! BUT That is all only if you're daft like me and thought you were getting a big paddling pool for the kids. It's a proper pool. We accidentally had it on a pebble while it was very full...kids could feel it through the material, i managed to partially lift it and remove the stone which was sharp and should have burst the pool...it didn't. Its robust material for sure. You will need a filter unless you want to spend hours emptying and refilling every day. We bought a cover (which heats the pool mildly making it go from maybe -5 to 1°c) we bought a chlorine pool floater thing for over night which smells like a swimming pool so must work. All in all it's a great pool, but not for us in England who get 4 days of consecutive sun every 200 days and need to empty out grass and dead bugs each day.

6ft X 20in Easyset pool
I recently purchased the Intex 6ft x 20in Easy Set Pool for my backyard, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! This pool is perfect for my kids, providing a fun way for them to cool off during the hot summer days without taking up too much space. The setup was incredibly easy and took less than 15 minutes. All you need is a flat surface, and the pool inflates quickly with the included air pump. I filled it up with water, and it was ready to go in no The material feels sturdy and durable, and I appreciate the built-in safety features. The walls are thick enough to withstand some rough play from the kids, and I haven't noticed any leaks so far. At 6ft in diameter, it’s just the right size for a small family. My kids (ages 4 and 7) can splash around comfortably, and there’s still room for a few friends to join in . Cleaning is straightforward. I use a small net to remove debris, and the pool comes with an easy-to-follow maintenance guide. I recommend getting a small filter pump to keep the water. For the price, this pool is an excellent value. It provides hours of entertainment for my children and is easy to store away when the season is over. I highly recommend the Intex 6ft x 20in Easy Set Pool for anyone looking for a quick and affordable summer solution

Awful product
This is by far the WORST thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon. The inflatable ring kept deflating and despite spending literally HOURS filling it the sides collapsed and the Darden was flooded with water. 2 very disappointed children on the first sunny(ish) day of the year.

Massive, and brilliant
This is a fantastic pool! Bought as I was sick of paddling pools which puncture when you look at them, such a waste. I might not have read the dimensions so it is way bigger than I had planned, luckily it does still fit on the deck (note you need a flat surface, and I don't think you would want to put it on grass). It took SIX HOURS to fill, but if I can keep the water clean then I'm okay with the water use as I intend to leave it up until the end of summer which is probably less water overall than emptying/filling a more flimsy pool. Really easy to put up, it's only the top rim that is inflatable and then the water pushes the rest into place. It's big enough for 2 lilos, 2 adults and a child to splash around in. You will definitely want a cover if you are going to leave it up (and you would have to be crazy to not leave it up). Price wise I think this is really good value compared to paddling pools, because it is so much better and I feel sure it will be reusable for years. However, do be aware that if you leave it up you will then need to buy a cover and chemicals to keep the water safe, along with test strips, and this does add a fair bit on. And if you don't do this and want to refill, it will cost you the best part of 1,000 gallons of water each time.
