Perfect pocket holes
What an incredible little tool! I built some alcove shelving for our dining room, and used the Kreg mini jig to create pocket holes to join the top of the shelf to a lip I created to fake the chunkiness. The joints are solid as a rock, and this little tool is so easy to use for great results. Simply set the Kreg drill bit to the correct length based on wood thickness (there’s a handy guide included), clamp it down, and you’re good to go. The drill bit is super sharp and created holes in seconds. What tremendous value for money too!

Good Product - Surprisingly Good Joint
I'm a Carpenter by trade and I've never used a pocket joint before, but combine some pva glue with this joint for use in butt jointed surfaces like a solid timber cabinet surface, and this jig helps make a time consuming job quick and easy and the result is good. The jig is robust and works well. Because I'm using this joint to hold the timber while the glue dries (in place of biscuit joints and cramps) and the surface I'm producing is supported, I've been able to use 32mm drywall screws in place of the Kreg specialised screws at a fraction of the cost.

Very useful
This is part of my permanent kit to take to jobs as I'm never sure what I might be asked to repair.Expensive on the face of it but so versatile and much easier to use and less bulky than a fixed clamp solution that I had been using. For most of my joints I use dome headed wood screws because they have the necessary flat base to the head (not countersunk or bugle head) and are a fraction of the price of the pukka items. The bulk of the cost is in the drill so I keep that in a protective hard sleeve - alright its a sawn off broom handle but it serves a purpose.

Useful addition, especially when making plywood joints
I use this to strengthen biscuit joints (for tension) or to hold together right angle joints in plywood. Easy to use, accurate. Don't really need the special screws, I have used Screwfix's finest and the joints work out OK too.

Works well and is excellent quality!
Excellent premium priced product! The drill is hardened steel and cuts through wood like butter and chips clear remarkably well!
