Vandoren Java Tenor Saxophone Reeds - Box of 5 - Strength 2.5

I've always used Vandoren reeds but this is the first time I have used these ones. I use a no.2 and have found it to be nice and responsive with a good tone. Reeds are very personal things and what suits some and mouthpieces may not suit others but I would definitely recommend giving these a go. I have a Trevor James bronze SR tenor with an Otto Link 4* mouthpiece.

Strong enough to pop top notes and don't buckle when playing loudly.

Outstanding reeds for my combination of mouthpiece and ligature. Ebonite Meyer 6m mouthpiece and Rovner Platinum ligature. Beautiful tone, low range and altissimo. Easy blowing. Brilliant!!!!!!!

I Love these reeds and have always used them as a professional sax player. I did feel somewhat cheated however after paying £4 for postage for them to arrive loose with one box. (I Bought 10)

These reeds are a great all-round workhorse. They sound good, last a decent amount of time and have good consistency. They are expensive but completely worth the money.

Never ordered these before. Very good quality and once worn in they produce a lovely tone - which is all you really want.

Sax reeds

Sonido muy bueno con una vaneoren t35, boquilla jazz/clásico, a medida que van envejeciendo salen mejor los agudos y sobreagudos, y bajos también con poca técnica, recomiendo sel 2 porque 2'5 ya son más duras y más trabajo para sacar sonido, espe o que os sirva el comentario.

I play in both concert and jazz big bands and use these reeds for both. They are consistently good out of the box, have a nice balanced tone and last a long time.

These are the best reeds I have ever bought! From the first play it gave a sweet sound.
