8 bit do makes well built controllers this is a must buy!
I bought this for my wife, for her birthday and she loves it, the control feels solid in the hands and the texture grip is nice, it feels better than the switch pro controller because it has better gipe.the charging dock is nice but note, it comes with a chargeing cable but not a charger cube so you will need to provide that, unless you just plug it into a USB which is not really a problem, under the charging dock it comes with a USB plug in if you need to use it in 2.4g or just use it in Bluetooth, we have not noticed any input lag at all.the charging dock lights up white at the bottom and will turn off when it's completely charged and it was very easy to pair and use the controller , this controller functions just like a switch pro controller only feels better, I give this controller an A I'm not sure about battery life but it boost a 20 plus hour life.worth mentioning I have other 8 bit do controllers the m30 Sega Bluetooth and SNES SN30 Bluetooth and they work fantastic, and they feel like a real Genesis controller and SNES controller very good battery and no input lag you can use these on your PC and switch and I love them. thank you 8 bit do and I highly recommend these controllers

Great Controller Fingers Crossed no Stick Drift
I got this controller to game on my PC with the primary reason being that it is using Hall Sensing sticks. Over the course of the last 5 years I have had to throw away and replace several controllers from both first and third party due to stick drift. So far I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this issue finally won't happen with this controller as stick drift issues take time to develop. The controller itself feels good in the hands with shoulder buttons similar to that of a Playstation Controller instead of an Xbox Controller. You have to use 2.4 GHZ wireless option for it to work on PC so it will register as an Xinput controller. This doesn't bother me since a dongle is already included and that it can hidden in the charging station with a passthrough saves on USB port. The charging station is a great feature as well since it's a place to allow your controller to rest saving desk space of having the controller just laying some place on your desk.Using software, you are also able to program the buttons however you see fit. Yet, the most important aspect of this is programming the two additional buttons that on the back of the controller to whatever input you want. This can provide quicker button presses for those who wish to use them.Overall the controller is great as long as no stick drift issues crop up over the coming months/years.

Great controller, but it might hate Steam
I'll start by saying that the build quality of this controller is great. I have smaller hands, but this controller is very comfortable. I've been using it for 8 months with my PC and it's been totally solid. Good battery life. The firmware for swapping between Xbox and Nintendo layouts works great and updating it is a breeze. However, my controller absolutely hates Steam. It thinks the A button is up on the D pad in one game, the right joystick and half the buttons don't work with another, but it's totally usable if I play the game through it's own launcher. It's just input problem after input problem specifically with Steam, dongle or wired. I have messed with every possible setting, I have updated everything, it doesn't matter. I can't use this controller with the majority of PC games I own, which is totally wild and I'm at a complete loss.

Best current gen
This is my favorite current gen controller. That includes Switch 2. Aside from this being a great controller. 8bitdo released a firmware update (Google it, you'll just need a PC to update it with) so that it works on the Switch 2! Support good companies!!!!It feels great in your hands. The geometry, the weight and the snappiness of the thumb sticks (even after almost 2 years of use)... It's awesome. The d-pad and buttons are also good. It can work on Xbox or PC as well. You're looking at it, just buy it.

8-Bit Do Forever! Best gamepad I've ever used.
I've been gaming since Atari 2600. This gamepad is better than any gamepad I've ever used in my life. The duribility is top notch. I feel like they will never break. You won't find this quality in the first party brand names for under $200. The ant-drift is legit. The Bluetooth is great and I've had no issues at all. And I'm as picky as they come with game controllers. You can easily switch between Nintendo Switch and Xbox compatibility on a PC. Plus the gyro will remind you of the PlayStation Dual Sense and is very customable. The only problem I had is I wanted to get a second one. No way am I using another gamepad. Yes there are controllers more flashy, with gimmicky LED screens, with different attachments. If you want quality these gamepads will make you feel like you have a pair of Jordans instead of regular Nike. The 4th time I've bought from 8BitDo whom I hope to be buying most of not all my gaming accessories from.

Great controller, no stick drift, with a stand
Between controllers like the 360 elites, switch pro controllers or pretty much any other controller made after a certain periods of time, the joy sticks always feel worn down and start to drift. After the half year I've had this one, still feels new. It was a bit buggy when I first got it, with it not working on the steam deck. But after a month or so they released an update for it to work. My one complaint is I wish I could map the back buttons to keyboard strokes instead of only other buttons on the controller, but I'm not sure if this is just a limitation of the controller or the peripheral interfaces. So beyond the nice feel of the joysticks and buttons, the fact that this controller comes with a stand at this price point is amazing. Having a place to dock my controller neatly on my desk is great way to keep it easily available and charged. And having the dock house the wireless dongle as a pass through to the PC was just a generally awesome idea.
