Double Glazing Shovel Lifting Wedge

Essential piece of kit in glazi

Bought to level some patio doors up and worked a treat

A good tool, very handy for what its designed for, lifting double glazed glass units to enable the insertion of packers when installing upvc windows.

This is one of those tools that you don't use often (unless you are a glazier) but when you need it, it's essential. There is no other feasible way of lifting a pane of glass without this when it's in the casement. Tempting as it might be to use a screwdriver or other similar implement, that's only going to end in a cracked pane. If you're doing any window fitting, this is a must. It's really solidly built, not flimsy at all. The price belies the quality.

A bit flimsy the tip breaks easy still usable but not gonna last much longer

I have found this useful on flooring and jobs involving large glass surrounds. Haven't used it much yet so I don't know about the quality Update - it has been useful over acouple of years and has lasted well

Good price and was delivered within a few days

This came in very handy when fitting the heavy 4mm glass in our new greenhouse. Good to moving glass in the frame to fit the seals and for encouraging the more troublesome seals into place. I can see that given the tough build of this tool it may have other uses in time. Recommended for fitting glass.
