Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Nintendo Switch)

Arrived on time as expected, neatly packaged. The game itself, I actually also have on Xbox but wanted it on the switch for another save and for 'on the go'. Love this game, it's a different take to most dragon ball games but that's it's best quality, it brings all the fighting, mini games like hero colosseum, open world exploration, player interaction, PvP (player Vs player), and player Vs ai (computer controlled) , boss raids and a great co operative experience with lots of levelling up, move sets , takes on missions and pretty much every take on dragon ball characters you can think off the top of your head. Couldn't recommend more, actually purchased another copy for a family member too!

I liked this game because it is fun and your avitar can learn any special attack in dragon ball you want. There is also the hero colisium where you can take part in figure battle where you collect figures of dragon ball characters and use them to fight other people's figures. The only problem with the hero colisium is that the figures are too expensive, and you get a random figure instead of choosing. The story is really fun, but it's a bit too easy until the bit where you fight Cooler (fourth form) and frieza (final form), who later power up into Cooler (final form) and frieza (final form full power). There is also the planet namek, majin buu, great sayaman training and vegeta training side quests which are really fun. You can also play online with random people and your friends and you can even make a team with them.

I had this pre-ordered through Amazon but it did not arrive on day of release. Although Amazon notified me quite late, I was also given £5 towards my next purchase regardless of whether i kept my order or not. I was able to use this as well as getting additional £2 off the item i chose using Prime. I decided to keep my order of DBX2 even though ETA was 4 Oct. The game arrived on 26 Sept.I'm not a big DBZ fan and have only played the previous games briefly or not at all. I was pleasantly surprised and really like the fact that you are able to create your own characters. The gameplay mechanics really make you feel like you're in one of the epic battles from the show.Performance wise, i was surprised to find that the game plays better in TV mode. There seems to be minimal lag in my experience and the overall look is good. In handheld mode i was immediately disappointed that the graphical fidelity did not hold up. In addition to this, i also experienced some frame rate issues.As of right now, I'm having fun with this game and actually score it a 3.5* but gave it the 4, one because there is no half rating and two because I'm in a good mood that Amazon ultimately dealt with this whole ordeal well!

Really enjoyable game, improvement over the previous game with new characters and abilities. Graphics are nice on the Switch and the online multiplayer is really fun as well. Definitely one of the best Action/MMO type games you can play on the Switch right now. Works nice on handheld mode too.

I loved this game on the PS. Now it's out on the switch handheld console it's even better for on the go

This is a really great game and lots of fun battling through the sagas. Plays great in portable mode and docked. Very much enjoyable.

This is a direct port of the Xbox one and PS4 version only it isn't as strong visually. Downgraded to 30 frames per second and 720p on handheld mode from 60 frames and 1080p resolutions on the bigger consoles. Even so this is Dragonball Z on a potential handheld device! And it's very good in that aspect alone. If your a lover of the series then this is a must buy for you, if your a returning player and want to take the game on the go this is also a good buy for you. Otherwise I would stick to the home console versions. Great game that surpasses the original by the skin of its teeth... this game could have done with more new content over the original but still holds up well.

Actual garbage. When you eventually wade through cut scene after cut scene you get to run around aimlessly in an open world which has graphics from 20 years ago. Do yourself a favour and buy Legend of Zelda instead.
