This has it all!
I liked what I saw when reviewing the contents in this kit. It has everything you will need in an emergency when you are stuck in the woods, on the side of the road, or even your college dorm! You can't always get to help when you need to and this kit has so many needed items for emergencies. I bought this one for my grandson to take with him to college when he starts! Great to keep in his truck also.

Useful for many things
I've already used this kit so much. For the price point it really is worth it. I'm not a medic by any means but I do have a family and this works well for us at home, when camping, playing at the park, etc. The flashlight works better than expected and lots of bandaids are included. As others have noted this does need some antibiotic ointment. Also, though I like the idea of the container it comes with, items are really stuffed in there. I'm worried I might 'break' the ice pack before I need it and sometimes it is hard to find an item you may need when things are packed so tight. That said, I use an old diaper bag because it is roomy, has lots of pockets, and it's waterproof. I also added a few things, but depending on your situation you can add what you need, or omit things you don't need. Please keep in mind special needs or allergies when adding to your kit. I got most of these from Dollar Tree except the cooling pads which I bought on Amazon. Travel sized items are perfect and may be cheaper at wally world than dollar stores. Here is what I added:* Antibiotic ointment - neosporin and bacitracin are good* Knuckle bandaids* Sewing kit - got it free from a hotel but you never know if you'll need a stich* Small cooling pads - in case I ruin the ice pack* Tylenol/aspirin/aleve* Gauze pads - the kit has gauze but we used most of it on one wound my husband had* Small candies/gummies - if you are with someone who has a diabetic need or you just want a piece of candy* More gloves* More medical tape - I didn't buy it but I was given it in the hospital once. Curad is the brand* Hand sanitizer* Masks if it makes you feel better* Female supplies - they have multiple uses* Bottled water is always good, even off brand pedialite. If you are camping a water cleanser and filter may be needed but will cost more than this kit. If you can catch a sale though it is worth it and it is usually compact.* Individual peanut butter packs and beef jerky for protein and energy* I haven't added it yet but thinking about getting some Bleed Stop because I am anemic.Last but not least....drumroll...* BUBBLES! - I've found that if kids are distressed over a bug bite or scrape, bubbles make them happy while you patch them up. Even adults like bubbles. This is something I've always had on hand for impatient times. Long lines, long waits at the Dr, waiting for food, etc. Just seems to make everyone happy.
